I'm pretty sure it does.

I mean, you drop $10 on random crap every month (when I say "you", I mean people in general), for people like us, that shoot constantly that's a bargain. Casual shooters, maybe not

It's definitely worth it. I pay that for PS alone right now.
But I already bought LR4 when it came out :/

I am very surprised to see them offer LR in this promo. With it still being a stand alone. Getting PS CC would have been worth the $10 per month alone.

I just bought LR5 from B&H for $99 last week. I wonder if I can get Adobe to cut me a deal...

I agree for the person that has to have the latest photo/video software. its much cheaper. But i have a feeling this won't stay at this price very long.

this is no joke, I just received this question from a prominent restaurant in Chicago regarding event photography:
Does your camera have the capability to upload photos to facebook instantaneously?
now, I wonder, could I do this somehow with a DSLR and Eye-fi card?

You could, transfer to a mobile phone or tablet, then to FB. No camera yet goes straight to FB. Until that Canon one comes out.

you can pair the Eye Fi card to a mobile device, have the device logged into the Restaurant's Facebook... but you will still need someone to sit there and select the pictures -----> upload to their page. I'm sure you won't have time to do that because you'll be shooting and have your hands full.

it would be really cool if LR had integrated HDResque processing - like Topaz and and some Lucis Art style effects. no, the clarity slider is not enough. Maybe somewhere down the road.

Can't see then doing so since LR has never been an "artistic" program. Topaz is a LR plug-in.

I use the Nik HDR Efex Pro 2 plugin and it's pretty good, but I may go back to Photomatix

But you can get a bit of the HDR like effects if you slide the highlights down all the way and shadows up all the way

Does the restaurant have wifi?

Add their wifi network and the eye-fi card will auto upload to FB.

If you want to review before you upload there is an option to only upload pics that you "protect" in camera.

Just a FYI, the Eye-fi "Mobi" doesn't do that

Yeah, it's a more simple (and cheaper) version strictly for wireless transfers to mobile devices (thus the name), doesn't do RAW or anything

I'm seeing this more and more for event photography requests...
We would also like the photographer to have the ability to record names of people in photos as these images are being taken.
like taking photos at the event isn't enough. I did a couple of events where this was required and it was not fun. Imagine taking a photo of 4 people, and then getting all their names written or typed down (make sure to get the spellings right) - and repeat. Each photo takes like 5 minutes to do. :-/

man thats harsh. imagine so many iconic photos a person can miss. Maybe having a assistant follow you while taking photos?

alright I have to admit both times I had to do it before, I had an assistant with me and she was doing that part. But even so, it gets tiring and the time adds up. I guess I am not into doing the photo-journalism part of it. I wanna snap and move on.

Maybe have a photobooth setup that you can have people tag themselves into the photos?
