So I get a text message from the photographer that I'm suing that he is sending full payment via FedEx and gave me a tracking number. I'm at home waiting for it since I have to sign for it
Guess he got served and realized I wasn't bluffing! We'll see how everything goes with the payment though.

Amazing to see how fast a fire gets lit under their ass when they realize you aren't going to just give up and go away.
I'd further the slow burn and and warn anyone against working with him on public sites he might frequent or use to attain help.

There is nothing wrong with any house that price cannot fix
Remember the above and remember it well if you are trying to buy or sell a house. Here’s an example from Los Gatos from Burbed reader nomadic! Thanks very much.
Remember, if you have a listing that you think belongs on the front page, please send it in to one of our emails on the right hand column. “Bunus” points if you let us know why you’re sharing it.
Here’s what nomadic had to say when sending in this 834-square-feet-too-small-to-merit-the-ginormous-tag tumor.
Check out the last 3 pictures in this listing (#23-25).
“Agent related to Seller” – $400k price reduction, kitchen and baths need to be gutted, and HDR at its worst. Nice combo.
I
was actually looking at this house because I thought it was a REO, but I guess it isn’t. And this definitely isn’t the RBA! Twenty years later they’re trying to eke out a price double. You won’t have to worry about this house going pending before you feature it.
Au contraire mon frère! It indeed went pending before we featured it! The market is hot, I tell you, hot, hot, hot!

But OMG look at that HDR.
In case you don’t know what HDR is, have a look at this recent article where we covered the joy of High Dynamic Range as used in real estate photography. And it’s no coincidence whatsoever that that example of what not to do with HDR is also in Los Gatos.
In particular, look for the odd glow whenever sky meets, well, anything else. See how the tree on the left is emitting some serious Cherenkov radiation? Maybe those Los Gatos Mountains have an actinium mine below. Or maybe whoever bought this house, before moving in, needs to do a radon test.

At right is another egregious example of bad HDR in the listing photos. Look at the windows. Notice the dark ovals in the middle? That’s what’s actually outside. The HDR process created the lighter artifacts around the inside of the window frames.
Holy crap, when was that kitchen last done? It’s got tiled countertops. Better get some glittery hair gel to go with.
Now check out the bathroom.

Does something here look kind of familiar?
Can’t quite put a finger on it, but this bathroom photo is producing some serious déjà vu. Or maybe in this case, déjà vomutu.
Bunus: HOA fees!
What do you predict this house finally sold for after half a year? And how much overbidding was involved after all the price reductions finally fixed this house?

drove about halfway up to my destination yesterday, stopped for the night in a beautiful little village on the Maine coast.....woke up this morning to realize that I forgot to put my battery charger in my gear bag! Good thing I have multiple spares! New one has been ordered from B&H and will be at my hotel on Wednesday
I pulled a muscle in my neck bringing my gear bag into the hotel tonight
and holy fuck! The sun rises waaaay too early this time of year. I should probably go to bed so I can get up in the morning to take the first sunrise picture of August on the east coast.

I woke up this morning to find it raining, just went back to bed. Woke up at 8 and went out for some foggy pics.....3/4 of the way through this mornings excursion the mirror on my 5D came off
Luckily I had my 20D in the safe at the hotel....but the widest lens I have is my 24-60, and Im shooting almost everything wide up here

Well, shoot the scenes side by side to stitch together later.
well, I made do.....just struggled with composition, but it was a good way to knock the rust off.
After this clusterfuck, Ive decided that the 20D has to go, and I will replace it with a well used 5D as the prices steadily drop.

A guy in my camera club is selling on for $750, didn't really look at his e-mail, but $750, prices coming down, more and more.
The top image was taken recently, then the shooter did a Google Image Search and found the one on the bottom, taken 36 yrs ago.
