Not a wheel... :P
Pano of this morning's sunrise at the VA arboretum. We didn't get a lot of light, but it was a decent enough sky.

I disagree with unanimity

It's relatively simple....
select all the photos to be merged in bridge, then Tools > Photostop > Photomerge. From there you can select the type of look you want (Cylindral, Perspective, etc.). I usually just leave it on auto and then check "blend images together". Then wait for the stitching to complete and merge the layers.

Thanks guys!
I agree it would make a great HDR. Too bad I suck at HDR processing.
I think these would work really well, too..

I miss my 03 CL-S :(
National Cinco de Mayo Festival in DC today - very low attendance since it was drizzling. Which also meant I didn't want to switch lenses a lot, so I left the 70-200 2.8 on most of the time I was outside today.

I need to learn to position myself better with the 70-200, since I'm used to the 17-55 which is on my camera 80% of the time. In both of these shots I needed to move a wee bit more face-on to the subjects, but oh well. I still like 'em.
edit: I also have the tendency to shoot high with the 70-200 since I overcompensate for the weight :-/

I thought I was in the Funny Pictures thread with this pic - I'm going trying to figure out what's funny about it.

my 2nd attempt at panos, but NO HDR this time... it was just too much headache... I'll have to get better at both before I start processing both at the same time

^Nice! I've been meaning to say that I think your photography has improved by leaps and bounds over the past year.
(looks like your sensor could use a little cleaning, though.)

nice Ken, you're making good progress. one thing though I would get rid of the spots at the top of your image and/or clean your sensor, for better results. it is also tilted a tad to the left. adjust those two things and you'll help your shot.
And, you make it almost sound like HDR is some needed thing, I want to give you my 2 cents, it is not "needed". You can do just fine exposure-wise with modern cameras (like the one you have). I do HDR because its fun to do, I have a lot of fun doing it. If it was giving me headaches, I wouldn't do it.

I was trying to do the "cleaning mode" + blower method and, it just wasn't working, that thing wasn't moving at all. I just happen to have a starter cleaning kit that the seller threw in when I bought the camera. I've never even opened it.
In the kit, there's a bottle that says "sensor cleaner", there's a brush that's been kept in the container, some sterile cotton swaps. I got frustrated with the cleaning mode+blower method so I busted out the brush and just gave it a couple gentle swipes across the sensor. I took a picture of the wall (again), and that thing was gone! So I was out the door to take pics... it was a nice day for once. I got back and started processing the pictures but only to see a bunch of little specks of dust I got some out with LR3, but missed a bunch of other ones. I guess that brush must have been dirty or something, OR I ended up moving more dirt around even though I got rid of that big one.
Any advice in cleaning sensors?
