nice, wish I dived. especially would love to take photos under there. oh well. maybe I'll try it sometime. I had a couple of bad childhood swimming pool experiences that kind of left a bad 'mark' in terms of swimming in general, for me. so I don't do it much. /morethanyouwantedtoknow

Yeah people either love it or hate diving. Lot's of places will do a "discovery dive" where they have an instructor guide you around for 30 minutes underwater to see if you like it. I was hooked when I did one at 15 years old, it just took me a while to get around to getting certified, etc.

Underwater photography is awesome, but the gear required makes most of our kits look like fisher price stuff. Underwater housings for full size cameras are $$$$. Good housings start at $1500 plus ports, and then the strobes are $$$ too. When I hit powerball, that's all I will do though. Dive and take pictures.

Here's a photo I almost put in the renewed spring contest but there's a bit of reflection from the glass of the sliding door on the bird and a little bit of the curtain on the left so I went with the other.
