I wanted to capture the moment when the moon was peeping through behind the two buildings, but by the time I got my camera from the other room and went out to the balcony, it had already risen above. That's how fast the moon moves, we just don't notice it.

Thanks man! 😊 It's been like 2 years since I've done a photoshoot involving soooo much setup (3 lights and a haze machine)

Nice! Oh haze machine eh, nice!

Yeah, I have been getting back into the groove myself, and it's feeling pretty good! (see thread bump)

my first time experiencing Northern Lights (aurora borealis)
Here in Vancouver, we usually don't get to see it when it rolls across Canada, but every once in awhile we get a treat

Vancouver's getting hit hard today (like the rest of North America I suppose)

this was just messin' around with a tilt/shift adapter to make the "miniature/toy" look

Hadn't shot fireworks seriously in a good while (last time may have been like 2019?) - so I decided to go for a different kind of look this last night, kind of a subdued yet dramatic feel, this is from the Navy Pier show they do every Wednesday and Saturday during the nice Chicago months.

Also sharing it at full-size here, if you want to take a gander at the details: https://photos.app.goo.gl/Q4MZKrFKiwdaboFbA

The first two shots are of the same sequence, first one is with the A7R3 + Sigma 150-600 (at 150mm) and second is the 5D4 + 100L. (I was shooting them simultaneously).

Be sure to click the photo to see the full-res HQ.
