So I was on Oahu about 2 weeks ago. I was offroading and fishing on the west side of the island and it gets really dark over there. I could see the milky way with my own eyes.
Luckily I had my a6300 with me but I only had the kit lens with me.
Not too shabby for sticking my camera in the sand and using the stock kit lens.

I've been wanting to use the 15 Stops ND filter that my wife got me for my birthday. I know we're all supposed to reframe from going out, but I had to run an important errand yesterday, so I took my mask, walked (didn't transit), didn't touch anyone or open any doors with my hand... and did this shot of Gastown/Vancouver. It were actually other people out, some cars on the streets, but with the 15 stops of ND, I was able to do a 5.5 minutes exposure and made it look like a "ghost town", post-apocalyptic like. I know it's a bit eerie, but I've been wanting to mess around with daylight long exposure for the longest time

Took my daughter to Coney Island Creek a while back, took some pics of her, and took some pics around a ship morgue - a place where a few ships/barges/containers were put out to pasture way back in the day...also home to the sunken yellow submarine that never took it's maiden voyage, most New Yorkers don't even know about this...

Had a nice sunset tonight... it's one of my most favorite subjects to shoot... either I haven't been paying as much attention or I don't know... Maybe I need to set a daily alarm - of course you don't get this every day
