Johnny, looking closer, it looks like you took a regular photo of the car parked outside, and chopped the entire background out and then applied some kind of lighting effect to it. In other words, there is some heavy processing and retouching in those photos. I guess you could have done it in 10 minutes, that would explain the rough edges. What do you think?

I can see a lot of brushing. The driver's door was brushed. I can see spots in the background that were missed with the brush. Great concept. Just needs more time in post, IMO.

I love photographing this intersection... kinda reminds me a little of some futuristic movie

Granville x Robson

Alley

this was suppose to be a panning shot of a sick matte black R8 with yellow calipers, but I had forgotten that my aperture was at F13 and on the Aperture Priority setting... so it came out like this... but I kinda dig it

just random shot

hobby wise? I workout pretty much everyday... I haven't brought my paintball gear up yet... for one, it rains waaaaay too damn much right now, two... the nearest field is kinda far, and three... it's the main reason I haven't paintball up here... it's Waaaaaaaaay too damn expensive.

but other than that, I take care of the apartment building that the family owns... it's an older building, so there's constant problems... in fact, I had to deal with a major plumbing crisis the past 2 days

...well, it isn't much work. I collect rent in the beginning of the month and if there are no plumbing or leaking problems or w.e. then yeah... I DO have a lot of time on my hands. I'm thinking about doing some personal training on the side (again )

I don't know for sure yet. Lets just say, I'm still driving under a California DL, but at the same time, I recently cancel my at&t cell phone number (reluctantly), I've had it for ever

If you ever it a gig up here, you should hit me up.

Yeah, don't they pay a lot less up here, thus keeping the production cost down?

I dont know...I would assume my rate would be the same on a union show.

Just hard to bring a crew up there....hell, its hard to bring a crew to another state. I was super lucky with Detroit.

my question is, what look are you going for? are you trying to black everything out so it looks like you took the shots in a studio? if thats the case, you probably want to totally black it out so you dont see the silhouette of the trees in the background

Johnny i see some strokes in the front of the hood and the all around the body? is something off with your monitor, they were more noticeable in the first batch these are a bit harder to see now.

I think its a pretty cool idea but just letting you know that I see the brush strokes on my macbook pro and its calibrated.

I got the wife to play a little dress-up last night. Well, not really dress-up, just shoes... Took a couple of shots and processed this one to a silhouette. Just a bit of experimental stuff...
