there's also a soften skin tool in LR.

my shot at smoothing skin:

i have the original somewhere on my old laptop hard drive i think..i accidentally wiped my hard drives earlier this year

Got a new case for my computer and had to put all the parts in to that:

After the election was called for Obama last night, DC basically turned into a big party. The streets at 2am felt like a Saturday night at 10pm.

There's a mural in an alley next to infamous Ben's Chili Bowl which has Obama on it - it was a popular spot for photos...

U St. by ep_jhu, on Flickr

And then over by the White House:

^You can see people in trees on the left!

There were so many people smoking pot at both locations... crazy. Gotta say DC Metro PD, Secret Service and Park Police did an awesome job staying out of people's hair and letting everyone have fun.

This was all with the 28mm f/1.8 on the 7D. No flash. I updated the Max ISO setting to 3200 and shot in Manual mode all night since I had yet to do high-ISO night street shots on the 7D. It worked out ok!

Is this hand held or tripod? Very sharp. I know nothing about the Sony cameras you're using, but I think the out put from them is really great.

nah, I rarely shoot wide open these days unless I need it... Had I shot that @f1.4 (obviously) it wouldn't be as sharp and probably over exposed

nice man, I am doing the same! I imported 70k+ images from 2011-2012 into LR yesterday - they had been "sitting on the shelf" for all intents and purposes...
