I hope it looks better in person...the pics don't do it justice.

all i know is that it looks nothing like a typical honda car anymore. its looks more like an american car than a japanese car. this could be good or bad. at least it looks way better than the current Accord coupe.

Tire size???
Anyone know the tire size on the EX-L V6 is going to be? I'm going to assume it's the car in these pics.
I've heard 225/50/17 but also I've heard 18" wheels.
I'd like the automatic specs because the 6-speed may have the 18" as standard.
Anyone???

I like it.

Drifting
Very, very nice! All the details make it look very upscale. In fact, the rear passenger window and pillar look very BMWesque.

As for the looks, the pictures are good but it will look better in your driveway..... may wait to see if TSX brings a coupe......either way honda is moving on and the TSX/Tl next...... others: the A5 sooner, G8, Fords redo of the tang, .......for once options.....let the good times roll.................

I like it from some angles. I'll reserve final judgment for when I drive it.

IMO Hyundai has been getting better and better, with the new Sonata looking far better than the current Accord.
On the other hand, Honda has been getting more and more bland, to the point where it's as "meh" as a Hyundai. Although I don't think the Tiburon is ugly, it doesn't excite me either. The 98' Accord coupe looked great, but this is just... average at best.

2008 Accord New Info! (Engine's and HP)
stole this from vtec.net forums
"Just returned from 08 Accord ride and drive and here are the major improvements:
1. As we all know, improved VCM for all v6 models, improved because teh engine can now switch from 6 cylinder to 4 cylinder to 3 cylinder, 3 different modes.
2. Two different 4 cylinder engines and two different v6 engines
4 cylinder model: 2.4 L, IVTEC 177 HP and a 190 HP engine
6 Cylinder model: 3.5 L SOHC IVTEC 268 HP one with and without VCM; later engine for coupes.
3. VSA, Active head restraint, 4 wheel disc brakes with EBD, Dual Chamber side airbags, TPMS, ACE Body Structure, ABS, DRL standard on all models.
4. No more DX or VP model, there are two different LX models, LX and LX-P, LX-P adds Driver side 8 way pw seats, 16" alloy wheels, Chrome exhaust finisher, security system, illuminated pw win switches.
5. Navigation is exactly like the Acura Rl, bluetooth is standard on Navigation Models, No more touch screen, nav screen placed higher up, a la 5 series with a toggle. 700 voice commands, really nice..
Initial Observation
After selling the current Accord for the past 5 years, I found it very difficult to find many more things Honda could of done to improve on the next generation Accord, but I think Honda hit its mark. The vehicle has a tighter ride than the current accord. Interor layout is first class, blows camry and altima out of the water. Beside improving on the NVH and technical features, Honda engineers really made this an Evolutionary Accord rather than ground breaking, which is alright with me, cause we sold a lot of 03-07 accrod.
The design looks main stream for the sedan but the coup really kicks ass; people will fall in love with the coup. "

yayuh! 190hp 4 banger shall destroy the camry, and good shit with the new V6's cylinder activation mechanism.
Also interesting is that the Accord Coupe will have a different V6?

The Accord coups have always stuck a good chord with me, especially in their interiors. After having my 3.0cl which is essentially an accord coupe, I am not interested in a fwd coupe. If I could enjoy all my Honda love with rwd or awd.
#1835
does he mean latter engine for coupe, ie, w/vcm, or we'll know more about the coupe's engine later?
#1836
and we all know the 4-cylinder is capable of 200hp, i hate how they knocked 10 hp off of the Accord just so it wouldn't step on the TSX's toes.
