Yeah, but the TL-S won't be out for another few years, and all it really is is a sport tuned version of the existing car. It's purpose is really to just keep things fresh. Bigger engine, upgraded brakes, sport suspension and slightly different looks? If Acura wanted to design an enthusiast car, these would have been options from the very beginning.
I will give them credit for offering the SH-AWD though. That's gonna help a lot in giving the car a sports image. We can all agree that they need to rid all their cars of FWD and this is at least a start. We may not get what all that we want out of this new generation, but I bet that front wheel drive will be nowhere in sight of the next generation after these.

And for the 335i, i believe it's 275whp, 300wtq. With that said, it would be interesting to see what's going to happen when other companies start turbo charging their 3.5L engines.

Thats pretty damn good...and I think the N/A 4 Cyl will bring a lot of attention to consumers who want an entry level luxury car with great gas mileage.

Not feeling the rear end... I just never liked the edge between the bumper and trunk that alot of cars have lately... I like the smooth transition of early honda/acura models, but I guess acura wants to go with a "edgy" look

You know what, I kind of like it from that angle. For some reason the guillotine grill look doesn't work, but I like it when they apply it to the trunk. Lights remind me of the new Accord, of course, but much better looking. Overall that car looks way better than the new Accord sedan (at least from that angle)

I like it. With the lease being up on my 07 AV6 in 18 months, this will enter the running as a replacement...assuming it looks anything like this.
Costco, what you stated pretty much also applies to the 6G and 7G Accords versus its 3.2TL/TL counterpart.

I remember when the new BMW 5 series came out after the 7 series and there was talk about them butchering the 3 series, but it came out all right. I'm hoping that's the case here after the RL and TSX. Crossing my fingers. . .

I think the next TL will look alright, even with the grill. The RL though, looks like shit. The difference though is the TL and TSX were designed all-new with this grille, so looks better incorporated into the body. The RL was "updated" with the grille, and it definitely shows.
Whether people like it or not (I'm up in the air about the TSX and TL until I see them more often in the real world, except for the new RL which will look hideous), at least it's a bold move coming from a brand like Acura.

too bad that they have to keep making it even bigger and longer. there's nothing sporty in that anymore. if they made it the same size as the current TL or 2nd gen TSX lengthwise maybe just 2 inches longer it would be great! even the 09 maxima is smaller than the current maxima.

is it just me, but i don't see a rear diff and drive shaft in the picture of the back and down low.
edit.. maybe it is just me. or i dont know what the SH-AWD stuff looks like.
