I agree. For that reason and the possibility that they simply don't agree with yuo or me. There are lots of examples of oversized grills that don't conform to the natural lines of the front end. I don't particularly like that type of design but I'm not the last word on things, so my wife keeps reminding me.

But sales are the last word. I know we can't definitively say the grille is the cause of those lost sales but they have to believe it played a significant part. If they don't, then they obviously haven't read even 1 review or visited one internet car forum. The grille griping is pretty much universal as far as the TL goes. We shall see. But again, I think The RL's MMC was telling in this regard.

More horizontal, needed that. It's a tall car to begin with. Thats basically the limit of what they could do. Steering wheel looks great too.

Well they did it. They redesigned the grill to be below the hood line. Surprised but happy to see it

Still too beaky.

6-speed auto confirmed. 20/29 mpg.

Hard drive capacity increased to 60GB.

6 Speed Auto, ventilated seats, re-do on the beak, 60GB HD and blind spot detection. Not sure that's enough to entice me to update.

Would've prefered a greater level of differentiation with the base model and the pre-mmr cars.

This is kind of nice:

.... Finally, when equipped with the available Advance Package, the .... TL SH-AWD™ is fitted with 19x8-inch split five-spoke aluminum wheels ....

I'm honestly surprised they changed some of the things they did. All good changes. Many will say not enough, but there are always going to be people that say that no matter what car and what changes. All in all, its a good move in the right direction.

Having said that, let the whining begin. I mean continue....

I think they did what they could. Was it enough? I guess we'll see. Clearly they're listening which is half the battle.

Still underwhelming to me, they need to ditch that whole grille design.

Its only good to have a specific look if it is GOOD. It still looks beaky.

They vanilla(d) the design a bit. Which is "better" I guess.

She's still an ugly duckling.

The rear is still horrible. The toned down beak is better, but the beak was never the only problem with this design.

Is it me or do the lower left and right front light/vents look gigantic and out of proportion??!?!

I don't think Honda is going to see a sales increase due to this redesign. IMHO.

Its an improvement, but not to nitpick, why is the new piece in between the hood and the grille appear to be a different color from the hood itself?

MUCH better!
Still has awkward proportions but that front end is 8 billion times better. the car overall looks much cleaner. I would consider one, now.

Hey I wasn't that far off

I like it a lot. This is exactly what I was hoping for in the MMC. Sure it's vanilla-ed up a bit, but that's what was needed in the conservative near-lux/lux segment.

Kudos to Acura for listening.

I think the grill will be much like the TSX grill with a chrome surround and an inset shield. Obviously, the lower area of the grill with have horizontal 'slats' like the TSX. I think that we'll also see some bumper plastic between the edges of the grill and the headlights.
Well, looks like I was right afterall, not sure if that's a good thing.. Nah, it's as good as I was expecting.
