I would love to see the rear change too. It makes it look like there are two front ends.

I thought Honda would remove that stupid chrome piece underneath the rear trunk lid !?

So it seems that Honda hasn't touch the rear of the car, except reusing the old exhaust tips from the base trim model.

I'd hate to see how picky you are with your women.

I like the rear of the TL already then again i also love the rear of the RL.

No, there's more than that. There's now a more defined bumper. They've seemed to have softened it up. It's not such a slab sided rear anymore.

Have a look at the thread in the TL section for a comparison.

Hey, I'm not the only one who hates the TL rear....and not the only one who thinks the chrome piece is tacky...

I'm ok with you loving the uglies....somebody has to love 'em.

The tips arent exactly new either. Those look like the 3.5l FWD model tips. Not that it matters, the car is still a clusterfuck.

well i mean think about it, without those reflectors there then it would look even worse. Fat ass.

With the 2012 at least they took away from the mass of the rear lower bumper. Not so fat anymore.

License plate is closer to the trunk lid too. Nice.

board: tone it down! dial it back a few years.
designers: ok. hmm, well, we do have this classy 99-02 CL/TL bumper that we could use.

HAHA, pathetic.

i just googled a 2nd gen TL to find a bumper pic, and came across a publicized photoshop i did back in high school. http://www.automotive-road.com/2011/01/acura-tl/ damn it. WHERE ARE MY ROYALTIES?

seems like they lessened the visual height of the rear by broadening the trunk design.

Yeah I hate Acura added that on the 4G. The 3G TL didn't have them and it looked great. Why do you need reflectors anyway on a Sedan, isn't that what the rear tail-lights and the reflectors in that housing where for?

2012 TL Teaser

Here is what Motor Trend got to see today:

The full unveiling of the newly designed 2012 TL is set for tomorrow at the Chicago Auto Show.

Don't know about you but I'm looking forward to seeing a new front grille

I'm sure Acura wasn't quite ready for a re-design but I am glad they have been listening to their customers. I'll post some pics tomorrow.

oooh i cant wait to see what it looks like. 3gs look 10x better than 4gs in my opinion. 4gs remind me of a tank or a rocketship -_- hopefully they changed that grill

I'm betting the grille will still ride above the headlights and we'll all still be pissed. Why?

Because it still does on the RL after its MMC and I think Honda/Acura is just too stubborn to admit their mistakes.
