I remember someone here once said "I like roads that are less traveled"
Someone else said "How about the roads that were never traveled"

That should be their commercial with a TL and RLX in the background.

Taglines are "clever" ways to cover up a weak product. Stop with taglines. Start with making a stronger product.

AKA: Dump the ILX (severly redesign), ZDX (just dump it). Keep the TSX and the TL separate. Don't be afraid to make a ridiculously expensive Acura Sedan (NSX doesn't count). Fire absolutely everyone in marketing.

Any of that would help.

Acura has more severe problems than their horrible tag lines and abysmal television commercials.

Note to acura: stop making cars that make profits and focus on sports cars that sell less and lose money like the nsx and s2000.

Even the integra type r didn't sell well until the used market.

Look at what cars make the most profits. Mdx, accord, civic. The fact is boring and reliable cars are the best sellers and money makers. Camry is another perfect example.

You can bash acura all you want but the market does not lie. These are the cars most people want. I blame consumers not acura. Are you gonna blame car companies for the death of the manual tranny also?

To be fair, the MDX's, Accord's, Civic's, Fit's, etc....most of them are not exactly boring cars. Most of them are above average in terms of being fun to drive.

On the other hands, the fans are disappointed because, while these mainstream vehicles are fine, they also want some that are more exciting. At the minimum, they can make some Type S variants and a proper Si.

I know this has been going around the forum a lot and there's even a thread somewhere about the car, but Ive been reading quite a bit about it and there's a good possibility Honda will build this car using a 3.7 instead of the direct injected 3.5 that everything else seems to be "blessed" with. This is awesome because this motors raw, insane torque in conjunction with those beautiful twins will be a religious experience! Omfg, I cannot wait for this one...

Block looks like a completely redesigned engine with DOHC and highlights that are screaming Formula One heritage.

2015 Acura NSX Hybrid Concept Specs

2015 Acura NSX powered by a V-6 direct-injected 3.7L DOHC 24-valve + 2 front and 1 rear electric motors. Power is sent through a 7-speed twin-clutch automatic. Sports Hybrid AWD system is able to provide big-V-8 performance, some sources say that this is better than the four-cylinder fuel economy. Hybrid technology applied to the use of two electric motors at the front wheels and one in the back that gives power to the front wheels and provide torque vectoring in the mid-engine. This enables instant delivery of negative or positive torque to the front wheels when the car is cornering.

This engine can generate power of 480 horsepower (est.). With this engine, New 2015 Acura NSX capable of accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in 3.0 sec (est).

Surely they were meaning 480hp from the engine and boost. But, I hope they didn't.
