^ everyone knows darn well that between the watering down of any concept/prototype and the adding of the "required" Acura shield, the production version could look quite different.

I give this rumor of a low slung ZDX little credit. I give that rendering ZERO credit. Those rumors from that Holday rag are usually BS. The renderings are always fantasy. It doesn't even match the text. They said it would be a 4 door but are showing a 2 door. Whats that about?

Seems like some of us think that rumours are real. There's also another rumour that talks about the S2000 replacement being RWD with IMA and 2+2 layout. I can already see people in the future saying, "Honda said they will produce a 4-door sporty coupe/RWD coupe, but once again they failed to bring it to the market and this and that. All they do is talk but nothing comes out."

Hopefully, that means the 2011 TL and TSX will have the 6AT.
I'm wondering if the "exclusive SH-AWD tuning, revised suspension settings, and more sporty steering feel," that is listed for the TL SH-AWD is included for both the 5AT and 6MT models, or only for the MT.

I hope Honda realizes they're well on their way to becoming as gay if not more gay than Toyota. That's a hard feat, the Prius is about as bad as it gets. Screw Hybrids, make a diesel or go back to what Honda used to be good at, making new engines.

Honyota.
Good luck to them. Just last week were all excited about the new CEO. Guess not.
That sounds great, but when? Does this mean the J and K go on another 5 years?

“We are considering incorporating new engines, motors, transmissions and chassis into mid- to large-sized hybrid vehicles, and I think this is a good opportunity for change,” he said.

Here's the text in case the link goes bad --
Honda has never been a big fan of V8 powered rear-wheel-drive sedans - and even with a new enthusiast steering the wheel at the company, it doesn’t seem like we’ll see any dynamic sedans from the Japanese automaker anytime soon. According to Takanobu Ito, who replaced Takeo Fukui last month, Honda doesn’t need V8 rear-wheel-drive sedans because marked demand has shifted to fuel-efficient cars, reports Automotive News.
“I don’t think we need a classic front-engine, rear-drive car,” said Ito. “It would be meaningless to emulate what other companies have been doing for more than five decades.”
Honda needs to pioneer new territory, Ito said. He said that Honda recently suspended its rwd program and called it “a good decision.”
“We are considering incorporating new engines, motors, transmissions and chassis into mid- to large-sized hybrid vehicles, and I think this is a good opportunity for change,” he said.
Last year, Fukui said that Honda was planning a new fuel-efficient V8 for the Acura RL; however the program was axed during the global market meltdown.

Not shocking, but disappointing nonetheless. All of the "Tier-1" talk was a probably a bunch of BS or the Tier-1 plan has been discontinued. It seems like Honda is content to invest a minimum amount of money into Acura and relegate it to its current position below BMW, MB and Lexus.

Acura will never move up to the tier 1 level with the current direction they are going. Backward

Guys....just wait....give Honda/Acura time......10-15 more years....coupes, Dual clutch gearboxes.....V8, turbos, RWD, diesels, direct injection......it's all coming.....Honda won't let you down!!!!

^ honestly i don't think anyone's floored by this ass backward decision from Acura. I think we all had a glimmer of hope, but knew in the back of our minds Honda was going to pull something like this.
