That color should be in production, imo.

I took a 1,000,007 more pictures of the SSM.... It really is one of those colors that changes depending on the lighting... some of the pics were taken when it was slightly overcast and some when it was a bit sunnier. There's also a Silver Moon TL for comparison.

RandomRon82...Thanks for the great pics and your contribution to this forum....You are amazing!

Now I will have to correct you on something....You mentioned "slightly overcast". As a meteorologist, I have to correct you on that one. It is either overcast or mainly cloudy. Overcast refers to the entire sky covered by cloud...no holes in the clouds

I like that color. It fits the car, if that makes any sense. Bellanove White Pearl is a good color as well.

Crystal Black Pearl is a given. Black looks good on just about any car. Once again thanks for the pics, RandomRon!

Mainly cloudy? I thought it was Mostly Cloudy.
What about Mostly Sunny, Partly Cloudy, and Partly Sunny?

RandomRon82...Thanks a million for getting all these extra pics, and including the 4 cylinder. Pre-ordered one without seeing it and after seeing all the pics you and others have posted of it in person, I'm sure glad I went for SSM. Now c'mon Ohio...build my car!!!

MardiGras....It depends on where you live. I hear ya on the confusing phrasing for sunny with cloudy period or mix of sun and cloud. We should simplify by "we don't know what the weather will be" *LMAO*

After having seen every color other than Fathom Blue and SSM in person, I'm still leaning toward Bellanova White. I saw one today with the body kit on and it looked great. Even with the body kit that I dislike. It looked good in person at the dealership on the white car. I still don't think I'd get it, though.
After having seen a black one, I'm still not sure I'd take it over the white color. Maybe it's because I've gotten so used to black/black cars since my last 2 have been that combo. It's getting difficult to find these cars around here, though because everything seems to be selling or pre-selling.

Random, YOU DA BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :-)

Thanks for the great pics!!! Love this colour. I love these chameleon-like colours that change with lighting condition.

Slate Silver and Bellanova White Pearl are the best...!

Someone in the 4G forum did a marvelous job of making that mess look quite nice. I imagine it will be harder to fix the bling on the interior.

Different strokes for different folks. I think that mod above doesn't look good. It looks like someone tried to correct something that wasn't part of the design, and from the picture it doesn't look like color matching was done that well either.

As much as I've never liked the 4G, at least the grill (and all the other components) consistently fit the design language of the car - big, bulky, and proud. Whenever I see attempts to scale-back some of those elements, they just end up looking out of place. But again...that's just my IMO.

The TLX on the other hand is solid. And minus the lack of real front/rear fascia options that aren't "tacked" on, I love the new body design, grill included.

I never really had a problem with the '12 refreshed grille. Actually like it, which is a good thing for me since it appears that it is gonna be Acura's "signature" for quite some time.

Please click on the picture to see the details. I don't think it was meant to match the color of the car. They could have just painted it if that was their goal.

That's what it looks like they were going for as far as I can tell. Almost looks like that huge dunsel in the front of the Acura has a tech reason for being there.

Thanks, I can see it now after clicking on it that it is carbon-fiber. For me that makes it look even more out of place considering there is no carbon-fiber exterior components anywhere on that vehicle. All of this goes back to my prior statement that it just doesn't fit the design language of that model.

Again, just my observation and opinion.

Same here. I always thought the front of the 4G was very nice, I just had a problem with the rear.

Looks like Acura Sherway is really pimping out their TLX's

carbon fiber roof, carbon grille, 20" rims

Post #2071 ... I am still not a fan of those wheels, I find them too busy. I am aware it is simply my opinions but I will either have to go with the V6 and get the better wheels or find another wheel from Acura that will fit the TLX. I sure hope there are options.

Even the wheels on #2042 would be good for me.

Big, bulky, and proud (and I add muscular and hunkered-down, like a Transformer, with the 18" 245 wheels and trunk lid spoiler, as in the AWD Tech) is precisely what I find so appealing about the 4G look. Think about it, how many other Japanese cars attempt this look in a 4-door sedan? About the only one I can think of is the Maxima, and that has the stigma of being a Nissan. I used to own a 1997 4-door Integra GS-R sedan (in Black Currant Pearl as the color) in my younger days, and I like to describe my 4G TL as a grown-up version of my GS-R.

The TLX looks handsome (sleek and skinny), but so much like every other Japanese car on the road. By the way, I really liked the 3G, almost as much as the 4G, in it's time, but was simply not in the market for a new car (guess I turned out to be lucky looking back, with the Honda transmission problems and cracked dashboards).

I was out with a friend today and stopped by an Acura dealership. Saw a white TLX. They had the body kit on it. Took a picture from the side and then went to the rear. I wasn't quite sure what to think.... Anyone notice anything a bit odd?
