TLX in the wild... and new pics

Ron, you're starting to get on my nerves. I'm trying to restrain from buying for a couple of months, but geez. lol.
And weather is probably in a corner sucking his thumb after seeing those white cars. That tinted one looks sick ... even with the bolted on kit.
Thanks for posting these. I was waiting to see both the black and white with good tint jobs.

I'm not a big fan of the kit, either. I'm not sure they'll look good on any of the colors, but I'm waiting to see more pics. I'm still struggling between the black and white colors, too.

Three Wheelin'
what is needed are some good solid side-shots from a distance of the bodykit. every shot (even the ones from Acura) are all high-angle shots that don't really let you get proper perspective on how the kit changes the look of the car.

I agree. Probably better to wait for some better looking aftermarket lip kits to come out.

Let me rephrase my post: dude...your constant need to call out those who voice their opinions against those who trash Acura is getting old.

The front ends of the TL and TLX look very similar. However, the ILX and TLX look even more alike than the TL and TLX.
Looking at the front end shots, I simply don't see how the TLX looks any better than the TL or ILX. If you already like the TLX, the looks certainly don't hurt its appeal. However, if you weren't already predisposed to the TLX, the looks alone are not enough to make you fall in love with it. I suppose Honda has succeeded in making sure that the TLX styling is not polarizing, as compared to the 4G TL.
Personally, the distinguishing factor that I love about the 4G look is the wide, muscular, hunkered-down look (front and rear). Both the ILX and TLX, on the other hand, are handsome, but much more traditional and in a feminine skinny-bodied finesse Honda way.
Sorry guys.... Looks are indeed strictly subjective.

The majority who actually went see the TLX in the flesh were surprised and impressed.
But anyway...

Hard to tell these are 20's. Maybe because it needs a drop. Not much, just enough to close the gap and leave room for a quarter coin. However, caution, nobody really knows how the PAWS will behave with the drop at various speeds and road conditions. Wonder if there are any notes in the shop manual, or service bulletins about that.

You new here? There were/are more unfavorable criticism of the brand in general (and the TLX specifically) if you actually paid attention. It was just recently, after the release of generally favorable reviews and people actually going see and drive the car, that the overall sentiment shifted. It used to be that you risk more getting backlash for defending the brand.

I would advise to stay away from Forgiato. For the money there are plenty of great 3-piece wheels to choose from. I just want you to save your money

I had to get work done on my MDX today, and my dealer had a sweet black one in stock with some add ons. Here is the pic.
