Don't understand your use of the word, douche.

a jet or current of water, sometimes with a dissolved medicating or cleansing agent, applied to a body part, organ, or cavity for medicinal or hygienic purposes.

Not sure what you do with your lights.

For me, I love the look of 10 LEDs reflecting back to me.

oh my..... lol..... it was a joke. You've never heard of someone being referred to as a douche or douchebag?

Slang uses

Douche bag, douchebag, or simply douche, is considered to be a pejorative term, referring to an arrogant or obnoxious person. The slang usage of the term originated in the 1960s. In 2014, American studies professor Michael Mark Cohen proposed that the term is a valid candidate to be used as a pejorative term for male, rich, privileged, and frequently Republican whites.

haha.

I was joking too.

Guess I should have highlighted it in red..

I still don't see how the use of the word fits these lights.

I think this is reading a bit much into LED headlights...

"proposed that the term is a valid candidate to be used as a pejorative term for male, rich, privileged, and frequently Republican whites."

I wasn't trying to offend you, I was just curious about your use. I enjoy etymology and human behavior.

^^ LOL, oh no worries.. not offended, hahaha I thought you were serious though.... I just feel like a tool sometimes trying to catch a glimpse of my own car's lights every chance I get. haha.. so I was more or less referring to myself as a douche. HAHA

My humor is dry, sometimes too dry.

I was afraid to say it out loud, but I must confess... I also enjoy looking at my headlights and their reflection.

I saw a white near Merivale road in Ottawa (Canada). It looked like a v6 (from the wheels) but not sure what flavor.

Any of you gents?

Not sure what to call this color, maybe Flat Slate Silver? Custom paint job, no wrap, at the Toronto car show. Looks better in person, camera not that good. Wish it was a production color, well, I said "wish"

(yes, that is a real wilwood caliper... not sure if custom or direct bolt on, none of the Acura folks there knew any details of this custom TLX)

A flat blue 4 banger at the Ottawa car show. Cell phone pics. Looks nicer in person.

It's amazing how just changing the height of the vehicle a little gives it such a nice and aggressive stance/presence.

No contest on which one is better looking. Even though the beak could still be a little more discrete it still beats that spindle.

Haha. Can't go wrong with either one. The IS350 F SPORT was on my list as well but the price was way beyond what i wanted to pay for.

IMO the F-Sport bumper makes the entire nose too pronounced...the regular IS bumper flows much better in comparison, along with a classier grille

Kongx7...Congrats on being part of the "Mile High" club - I didn't know they provided plates for its members *LMAO*

I agree that the IS's F sport grill is very bold and polarizing. Some will hate it, some will love it and it is purely a matter of preference, the same way that some liked the 4G and some didn't

The front end of many cars are now going to the massive opening and personally I don't like it. It is a matter of preference, just as I personally love the look of my car and others think it's very bland. The Toyota, Lexus, and Dodge front ends look like large mouth bass to me, but hey, that's my opinion.

I do think the Lexus cars are very nice, but I'm not a huge fan of the looks. I cross-shopped all the "players" and I am happy with my decision.

I thought the same thing about the "Mile High Club", but I knew you'd (weather) would mention it. I've learned over the past few months that's part of your M.O.

I like the looks of both cars. Was really close to getting the IS350 F SPORT instead of the TLX. But the overall price for the is350 was too much above my budget and the interior felt really compact. I'm not a big person but i do like having some room inside. But again, can't go wrong with either car! Both are great and reliable.

+1 Didn't realized the difference the F Sport mesh on the grill makes.

Not the TLX but it's Chinese cousin. They need to quit with that "thrill" campaign and make commercials that speak for themselves like this

Really? They are everywhere here. I see them every day now, often several. They are clearly selling well here in Cleveland.

I stopped by early in the morning at my local dealer to buy some brake fluid for the TL and run into a sales guy who I know well... he says he is delivering 5 TLXs today (Saturday). No he wasn't blah blah, there were actually 5 in the delivery area of the lot! (thats on top of the 3 ILXs and 2 MDXs waiting for their new owners).

edit: on the other hand, the service people were very tight lipped when I asked "... so how is it going with the TLX, any issues?).

edit2: BTW, they just got delivery of a brand new RLX SH... black on black, boy oh boy, the temptation was overwhelming!!!
