I believe both the GT-7s and TE-37s originated from Charlotte! The GT-7s were on one of the Acura managers SSM, and those TE-37s were purchased from Desmond Performance where i used to visit.
Nice...
The GT-7's lip was trashed due to chemicals... I found a guy that will hand sand the trashed annodization off, and hand polish them back to new. He's finished one and it's really like new... Better than new actually, in that the finished can never be ruined again, as long as I hit em with some mequires billet once every week or so...
but as with anything Ray's... It's taking forever to get the last three. I expect them any day now. The guy doing the polishing is this crazy old hippy driving a late 60's VW van low rider. He works only cash, i figure for weed...

I'll definately be keeping the TE37s... I love em.
I'll be passing on either the GT-7s or the GT-S's. I don't need three sets...

To be honest, It'll be 90 days in a week since i ordered the GT-Ss. I may just try to get OUT of the GT-S order. I'm very happy with both sets of what I have. It's so wierd both of these sets popped up for sale, AFTER my order.

I have the Rays All Products book. I have read it, but it doesn't say what A,B,C is. Now I know what you mean. Its the pad height. As you know alot, I am all new to wheel technical terms and knowledge. I have been all over this forum, and making many phone calls with so many diff answers. How can I know what to need when people selling them are all telling me diff things. I see the diagram of the GT-C with face-1 and face-2. Face 1 is flat for what I need, where face 2 would be for RWD cars-deepdish. The GT-S has only 1 diagram, 1 face.
I called 2 places sat. but they were closed, I would of gotten more answers and probably ordered them already. I e-mailed Mackin Ind. with a detailed question. I will get the GT-S in A (high) pad with a +36 offset. So if my stock wheels are 8" wide with an offset of +45mm, The GT-S in 8.5" with +36mm offset will be about 9mm farther out towards the fender, plus half of the wheel difference 8"-8.5" =1/4" or 6mm more. So it will be 9mm+6mm=15mm closer to the fender of the body. Thats about 9/16 inch. Am I correct here (I HOPE)
I kinda understand your confusion on the GT-C. The face is just as described, a very flat inner, or a very curved center. Just pay attention the "pad type", as that's what determinf if they'll clear your brakes.

As for you other comment... PERFECT. You get it.
Those GT-S will ride 15mm wider than stock, and that's NOT outside the fender. It IS close, and if you drop lower than 1in, you MAY slightly rub your inner rear fender whne your wheel stuffs. A quick fender roll will solve any problem you have, and again, IF you rub is predominantly determined by your tire choice and size.

Congrat.

Get yourself some black G2 paint for those rear calipers. Give ya something to do while you wait.

Whats strange is I was out measuring and noticed my rear fender had part of it rolled, about 40%? The rest is 90 degrees? Now I am wondering if I should of ordered the Teins? I was thinking 245-35-19. But might have to get 235-35-19. I don't mind rolling, but I only have seen pics of the machine, no idea who does that around crappy Chicago? I am glad I figured out all the info in the catalog. Well you told me over and over, I just understand better. I wish I could get the GT-S pad B with +46 offset, wouldn't have to worry about scrapping. Plus with the A pad and +36 offset, the front tire will be flush with the front fender, and 1/4" in on the rear. OH BOY. Thanks again BRO!!!

JJaber06, did you ever figure out if it was those awesome Lexion wheels that wouldn't let that car top out? If those wheels fit my 07 TL-S I would of bought those in a heartbeat. WELL Thats if they still made them SHIT. I wish I knew if GT-S Pad "B" +46 offset 19x8.5" would fit those Brembo's.

Yah, very nice GT-S. I guess they would look good on my ASM 07 TL-S. I just got a quote for 19X8.5 GT-S, Toyo T1R 245-35-19, with center caps, lugs, locking lugs, mounted, balanced for $3450. I saw those Work Varianza T1S on that IS350, and now I have a choice to make. Which one looks best on my 07 ASM TL-S?

What pad, A,B,C, is it C? They must be 19x8" offset pad C.

The problem now is I know nothing about Work wheels? I have done a to of research on VOLKS. Are the Work wheels light and good quality. I am so sick of asking questions because I DON'T KNOW!!! When I first saw the IS350 this morning with those wheels my EYES POPPED OUT. First impression was WOW those should look great on my 07 ASM TL-S. I NEED quality answers, weight, etc. I called 1 place and they said 6-8 weeks. MUCH better then VOLK. If they are about the same quality as VOLK, and aren't heavy, I WILL ORDER A.S.A.P. BUT I need answers from people who know THANKYOU AND ANYBODY WHO CAN HELP, SO I CAN SHIT AND GET OFF THE POT!

Work wheels are extremely high end and most of them are very light 2 or 3 piece designs. I'd say they're right up there with Volks, if not higher.

Tomorrow at work I am making calls! I WILL order once I get REAL answers. Sorry but I am getting upset with all the shit to get a FCK wheel for this car! I wonder what finish wheel is on that IS350? The standard is (LS) Lightning silver, optional is (MSP) machined silver polish. Do yo have any idea. I went to their HOME website. They sound like top quality wheels. I was going to wait until next year because of visa debt. BUT I don't care anymore. I WILL order asap. Once I find out 100% facts. Thanks Much for responding to my hyper posts

Full size spare... ? That's silly, especially if you're running directional sport tires.

If that's the case, you need 2 full size spares, one for each side.

maybe for but the main reason I bought a 5th wheel is in case something happened to one of my wheels I don'thave to wait months with 3 wheels so for me it's not silly.did you know I can have the directions of the tires changed

No way! you can change tire directions?

I was being fecicious. Makes sense to have a spare for exactly that reason... Not sure I would carry it my trunk loosely. That could make a big mess in an accident.

it's not loosely in my trunk it's custom and fits down into a cutout the same size as the rim/tire.look closely its a false floor

Oh wow... That's cool.

I prefer the all stock look, afraid my suitcase would scrtch that bird up throwing it in, but that's slick looking.

they also made a cutout that goes around the wheel so it can be flush and flat when I want to put this on top.

My GT-C's took special lug nuts so I had to get the Volk lug nuts but they came with the wheels. I bought the Volk locking lugs also. I would check with either Mackin or a dealer for sure. Personally I would not take a chance on good wheels like the GT7's but it's up to you.

In comparison with 19x8.5" wheels, how much do Volk GT-S and CE 28 N weigh. I believe the 1 piece CE 28N accepts TPMS sensors. How about cost.

I weighed them when I got them, but that was two years ago. I believe it was right around 19 lbs.

Any "cone style" tuner lug will work. I have the Rays extended lugs, but I am currently using McGard splinedrive's with McGard tuner locks... You need 2 keys to get these bad boys off.
