not to thread jack the volk thread...but i still really dig my netz =) for the price of my netz, you can probably buy two sets with rims and tires and still be cheaper than volks with CF center caps and rays lugs.
i've never heard of "netz" though...could you possibly pm me more info about them. maybe a website. thanks !

This is the thing with Private Netz....
They are like most women....
Good from far....... But far from good...
From a distance they do like very nice, get up close and to the side of them,,,, not too impressive. Kinda like beer goggles for rims
They are a very cheap priced wheel, you can almost get 4 netz or one Volk..
But just like my father taught me, you get what you pay for..
If you don't care about the name brand of the wheel get the netx if you do remember the good from far theory

YAH they look great in that pic. I started out wanting a 5 spoke style wheel. Then I saw a 5Zigen SC 3000 mesh style and started liking that. Then I saw the TSW Kyalami and liked that, but I have been told they are soft-cheap. Then I decided my $2,000 total wheel/tire budget would be changed after looking at the Volk Silver GT-C. I saw it on a gallery and really thought it looked great. Now I am liking the new Volk silver center GT-S. New technology 2nd gen GT Volk I read! I just saw a RAYS's wheel called the Barracuda that looked nice. The problem I am having has to do with the color of my car. I like the ASM 07 TL-S color, but wheels that are painted too bright silver center overpower the cars ASM. Making the color look darker, drab. I don't want to make a mistake like the guy with the blue TL than got black RonJon's. I am really serious now about buying Volk's. SO many great comments on quality, NOT getting them. Order New Years day to get by spring. The BIG question is which one. The Volk silver center GT-C, or the Volk GT-S, BUT what color center on the GT-S will look good on my 07 ASM TL-S? I don't think it comes in a regular silver center like the GT-C. I know it's my choice, BUT I have NO WAY of seeing them in person on ASM TL'S to compare. Or a good pic to compare. Maybe soon their will be pic's so I can decide. BUT ALL your opinions help me decide! Please let me know what YOU think will look best! OR if you think another wheel/brand, model will look better, AND FIT the 07 TL-S Brembo's, Please tell me. thankyou, Jeff the wacko.

What are the colors for GT-S. What would look good on an ASM 07 TL-S A-Spec body kit? I might get coilovers put on friday if BigBear Tire in Oconomowoc Wisc has good ones. I didn't see Teins as 1 of the coliovers they sell. What other brand is as good. Sorry about this question, but its to go with VOLKS

I feel bad for you guys! ...waited only 10 days for the TE-37s to arrive. I even ordered them before I bought the car.
Just order some GT series volk, it doesn't matter which kind or finish, just as long as you order the correct specs.

JD...
No more posts from you in this thread until you have ordered wheels. All the info you need is here. Shit or get off the pot.
I picked up oneilldx TE37s today. Gettin' em mounted Friday. I'll roll those until the GT-S's come in... maybe keep em for track days.
The moral of my story is Volks on a TL is worth more than a post on AZ. Get your order in or you'll never have them. You're already pushing getting before the end of the summer.

TE37 with a +43 WILL clear Brembos... the TIME ATTACK is just a finish.
but...
The TIME ATTACK was a limited edition that has since been discontinued. Good look finding them.
JD, If you like the TE37 series, but MUST have a polished lip, the only option is the Volk LE37 series... more on that in a second.
The Volk TE/LE wheels are Volk Racings premier wheel, they're made from a 1 solid forged piece of aluminum "see the monoblock stamp", and are probably the lightest and strongest wheels out there. They a re a true "racing wheel".
The GT series aren't as light. They're a 2 piece design with a strong forged outer barrel, and a spun cast center face.
Anyway.
The LE 37 series wheels are identical to the TE except the lip is machined (not chromed. There's a nice set of gold LE's for sale in the BM:

![](http://memimage.cardomain.net/member_images/5/web/2225000-2225999/2225957_53_full.jpg)
but alas, those wouldn't fit a 3G TL very well... and Ray's has discontinued the LE 37s as well, so good luck finding a set of those.

OK I here YA. So I am an anal jackass, its in my DNA. I can't stand my tires dirty/uncoated. Even when my car (ASM) isn't dirty, I wipe the tires and wheels and re-coat everyday! Thats jus me. Sorry for asking something YOU think is silly! I guess I jus like my car to ALWAYS look as good as it can. Theres NOTHING wrong with that!

actually...i agree with you on that...if you're gonna take pictures of your car, you should use all your effort to make it look nice with small details such as wiping your tires...imagine if we all took pics of our cars when it's dirty and full of brake dust...ROFL =D so actually, you're request isn't silly....you shouldn't even have to request it cuz when that pic was posted it should have had he shiny tire stuff. lol

Could anybody tell me the correct offset for an 07 TL-S with Brembo's for VOLK GT-S 19"x 8.5". I don't want it past the fender. I just ordered Tein Basic coilovers so the car will be about 1.3" lower front and rear. I have called several places asking this same question anbd I am getting different answers
I got off the SHITTER and am ready to order. THANKYOU TO ALL

JD,
Dude, i've been busy. I have 2 kids, and it's mothers day. The wife has certain expectations. if you know what I mean.
Those TE37's are the bomb eh?
WDP is brutal. There are 100 theads from folks bitching about thier WDP bumpers not matching the rest of the car. This is true in the A-Spec kits as well. Strangely, the camera brings out the color mismatch more than real life. It looks fine in real life.
As for your PM questions, here's my input, some of it for the 2nd and 3rd time.
For your drop...
I certainly would go with the Tein Basics. You seem pretty adamant that you want a 1in drop only. A-spec will not give you that much, and the Basics are heigh adjustable so you can be sure to get that 1in, or more later if you want it. Just remember, you have to get an alignment every time you adjust the height.
I'd spend the extra cash and buy the TL-S upper strut bushings. MrHeeltoe can help you that when you order. They firm up the upper strut mount, making the Teins work a little better.
As for wheels...
Again, as I and Revolution Signworks stated in a 8.5 rim, anything from +36 to +43 will be fine.
The GT-s are not offered in a +35 offset, The NEW GT-F is offered in an A face +35.
here's the listings for GT-S sizes in 19x8.5...
A B C
8.5 +11 +21 +30
+24 +34 +43
+36 +46
Again, as I described earlier, the A, B, C are the "face types": High type" (A): Fit to high pad wheel (Skyline, 300zx, 240SX, Supra, Lexus LS400, RX-7
"Mid (B) and Low (C) type". High pad wheel is defined as high clearance for big brake applications...
"A" face type is defined as a high pad wheel which has less lip as the wheel is designed to clear OEM big brake kits. You obviously need the +36 offset from the A column. B and C faces have more lip, as the center face if flatter because brake clearance isn't an issue. B and C faces are for rear wheels. I CANNOT with confidence recommend a B or C face GT series rim as I have no idea if they will clear the Brembos.
Just because the wheel has a +43 offset, doesn't mean it's gonna fit.
The GT-C is offered in +2 +14 +27 +39 in 19 x 8.5 in Face type A. You would obviously want +39... Remember +36 is your limit
Alternatively, you COULD try the B face type... Go with a slightly higher offset, like the +46 on the GT-S, and if you CAN'T clear Brembo's, a small 3-5mm spacer will surely move the wheel out enough to clear the Brembos. That would work OK too.
Other than that dude, i don;t know what else to tell you.

Thanks Kennedy. Now I understand the chart A,B,C. Thats the high, med, low pad. A while back I believe you told me about the pad size. But I didn't know what that was. I have the Rays All Products book. I have read it, but it doesn't say what A,B,C is. Now I know what you mean. Its the pad height. As you know alot, I am all new to wheel technical terms and knowledge. I have been all over this forum, and making many phone calls with so many diff answers. How can I know what to need when people selling them are all telling me diff things. I see the diagram of the GT-C with face-1 and face-2. Face 1 is flat for what I need, where face 2 would be for RWD cars-deepdish. The GT-S has only 1 diagram, 1 face.
I called 2 places sat. but they were closed, I would of gotten more answers and probably ordered them already. I e-mailed Mackin Ind. with a detailed question. I will get the GT-S in A (high) pad with a +36 offset. So if my stock wheels are 8" wide with an offset of +45mm, The GT-S in 8.5" with +36mm offset will be about 9mm farther out towards the fender, plus half of the wheel difference 8"-8.5" =1/4" or 6mm more. So it will be 9mm+6mm=15mm closer to the fender of the body. Thats about 9/16 inch. Am I correct here (I HOPE)

Kennedy you're going to be the official Volk master guinea pig before it's all said and done. First your purchase of the GT-7's, now these TE-37s, and finally the GT-S's when they arrive.
I believe both the GT-7s and TE-37s originated from Charlotte! The GT-7s were on one of the Acura managers SSM, and those TE-37s were purchased from Desmond Performance where i used to visit.
