I gotta tell ya... I'm a Falken 452 fan. Cheap, solid performance, great looking, good milage.

I'd prefer Goodyear F1's, but I drive 80 miles a day... I need solid performance with solid longevity. Order in...

Next week boys. WDP on Titanium Gunmetal GT-Ss

That's right... we all know pimp's wear da gold.
I like the gold too, but I'm doing the black chrome conversion, and the Titanium complements this well.
RS, I must admit, we have similar taste. I've been through 5 sets of wheels this year, and these are finally "the ones". What started it all off was your Privat Netz. I had a set of thsose that I sold before ever mounting them, to order the GT-Ss... and of course the other Volk GT-7s and TE's in between (to tide me over).

When you said you ordered GT-S, I though "damn"... this guy is gonna think I'm all ove rhis junk, even though I "ordered" before you. I wish i had the vendor contacts you have.

Nice Kennedy! Now let's see them mounted. There are so many awesome whips out there, in EVERY color. I could afford Volks. But I already have 3 sets of wheels, and I'm TOTALLY satisfied with the Legends.

Hey, you can't blame us for having the same good taste in wheels can you? As far as i know, we're the only two 3rd gen TLs with GT-S on the forum and one 2nd gen TL with GT-S...so we have you with the gunmetal, i have gold and the other guy has silver.

When i heard you bought the netz cuz i had them and then you sold them...i didn't blame you...you had that ugly forged grey color if i recall correctly. i didn't know you ordered GT-S...i love the wheels for the simplicity. I think it fits the TL VERY well. A LOT of people IMO...don't know how to choose wheels for the TL...i would say there's only about 20 cars i've seen on here with wheels that i believe match the TL's style well.

But that's cool how i ordered AFTER you and i got mine first AND i ordered a custom color too. =D You can have the same hook up as well...just call up who i bought mine from next time. How much did you pay for your set? PM me if you don't wanna post it up.

Nah... I had the forged silvers too... I just wanted to be different, as a lot of folks ordered those after your post (avnpersuasion, and another guy had them), so i decided to sell, grab my nuts, and get the Visa...

Turns out I ended up copying you again... That's OK though, I'll rep the east coast. We talked about thsi already. I paid $2300 for mine... you did better than that from six.
I must admit, after pitching a hissy fit that it had been 100 days, they air-freighted em in direct from Japan. It was fun doing the customs stuff.

I agree with you on the importance of rim selection, which is why I went the GT-Ss. Certainly my top 6 are GT-Ss, those new Legends, Netz, VR Porgressiv Spoke, OE A-specs, and TE37s...

Sold the TE's today. It hurt to watch them go... but to be honest, as good as they look, they SCREAM boy racer. I never thought they went well with the TL's pseudo luxury styling. Accuratein is the exception, but that spaceship is in it's own class. The TE go great with that crazy ricey front bumper of his. Notice how the new Mugen civic has knockoff TE's:

I decided the TL warranted a different look than the civic's boy racer looks.

I wouldn't get it color-matched. That's too beautiful of a silver finish to paint black. Gold would be a different story though. =)

who cares about TEs! Like you said, i think TEs belong on civics, integras, etc. not on a TL. a lot of people are NUTS about the new RE30...i think those wheels are they fit some cars, but even still......hurry up and get some tires on so we can see those sexy GT-S!

GT-V, GT-U, Progressiv Spoke, Progressiv ME...those are hot wheels! A LOT of volk wheels don't look good on TLs though...but the ones i mentioned i think would loook good. I would be so all over GT-U if they came in 19s.

Awesome wheels actually. Rare, Limited Edition, and discontinued (LE's are no more)... Offset is a little wacky, + 51 offset....

Will that fit a 3G? By my calcs, that rim runs 25mm closer on the inside wheel face, which may hit the shock body.

8.5 +51 seems more like a TSX offset to me.

Who ya sending your wheels to for the powdercoating? I might have a set of "Boy Racer Wheels" to get done, but I don't want no amateurs touching my schit. Let me know.

No... They told me they wouldn't fit my manly Brembo's on my manly 6MT. Of course they'll fit over your puny "auto" calipers... Anything'll fit those.

Actually JJ, I've never been able to get solid specs out of you. What's the exact offset of those 19x9's? You always say, "it's the stock offset", but there's nothing stock about going with an in wider rim.

Send me some info on them. It may not be a money wise choice since I'm in the middle of the country now, but I'm trying to do my homework.

they are mercury silver I think its the angle. I just put them on last night after attaching the bands and sensors this week so the pics aren't great will take better ones when I get a chance to give it a bath and in daylight. Also I haven't received my center caps yet so still waiting on those.
