I would not suggest ordering them from Wheelsdirectonline.com they suck at customer service and I have had bad experiences with them

Who'd you order from that was able to get those so fast? Or have you been waiting for a while? I have a set coming in Gunmetal, but they're 60 days out at least.

In my research of Volk wheels. If the dealer or Mackin does not have them in stock then they have to be ordered from Japan and it could take up to 90 days to get them. I tried to get SF-Challenges in gold for my Redondo red TL but it was a 90 day wait so I went with the GT-C that the dealer had in stock. The wheels will be arriving this week.
I can not verify this but: The dealer warned me to look out for non-dealers selling knockoffs of Volks. Anyone have anything further on this?

Link to dealer list for Volk wheels, there is a separate list for gram lights.

A little assistance please!

I'm looking at some TE37s, 19x8.5 with a 43-mm offset.

These will fit a 6MT TL with the larger front brakes, correct?

Love the look of ACCURATEin's and datplayaz's ride.

Thanks
J

I ordered from SIX Autoworks in City of Industry, CA. Talk to Danny and tell him Tommy sent you...626.820.0212. I ordered mine March 10th....should be here in no less than 6 weeks from that date.... Danny knows people...he can get stuff fast. He ordered a set of Time Attack TE-37s and got them in 5 weeks.

My guess is between 23-25 lbs. I used to work in the shipping dept. at GMP Performance, so i weighed wheels on the UPS scale a lot.

I'm assuming you mean are any of these wheels compatible with the TPMS sensors. If it is a two piece wheel then they are not. I have the Volk GT-S wheels and I had to get bands to mount the sensors inside the wheels. It would be good to get feedback from other Volk/Rays/Gramlight wheel owners on how they managed thier TPMS sensors. Since the weather is finally cooperating I plan on trying to get my wheels on this weekend.

Hey JD,
Look, you have a zillion post in the wheels and tires forum asking "what fits a TL-S". I'm going to try and help a bit.

What you're probably aware of at this point is if you see a set of rims fitting on a MT TL, it's gonna fit your TL-S, so let that be a valuable tool as you search the forums.

Your bolt pattern is 5x114.3. The TL can support any rim 17in-19in provided the offset fits and the rim clears the large brake calipers (and that's the hard part). 20 inches+ and you may have to trim some of the fenderwell a bit to prevent scrubbing.

Stock wheel width is 8", the TL can fit up to 9 inches, but the fitment gets crazy finding a 9in wheel, with proper offset and will clear Brembos. Most folks opt for a 8-8.5 in rim. The back can actually take a 10in rim, but I have no idea how or why folks run staggered wheels on a FWD car. You're on your own on that.

Offset is defined as where the centerline of the wheel sits in relation to the wheel hub and is directly related to your rim width. Your stock offset is 8in rim with +45mm.
The TL fenderwells can take up to about a 30mm offset before you start getting really close to the fender. Going from a +45 to +30 offset on a 8 in rim physically moves the wheels "out" wider 15mm. Running wider usually looks better.
Some folks like to have the wheels NOT run so close tot he fender, so they opt for a "stock" offset, allowing the wheels to stuff better in the fenderwells, allowing deep drops...

Now.

Most Volk racing rims are "high clearance", in that thier designed to clear big brakes. You can pretty much order any Volk rim within a reasonable range of offsets and it will clear the Brembos and fit the fenders (At least in teh GT and SF series... the TE series are little tighter, and may need a spacer).

I ordered Volk GT-S's in 19x8.5 +36 offset. Those wheels are wider. The +36 offset make the wheel sit 15mm wider than stock on the outside egde, and 8mm more clearance on the inside edge, which doesn't matter.

Running a 245 or wider tire may amplify any rubbing issues when you run that much wider, as the tires are actually wider than the rim, thus getting even closer to the fender.

There lots of folks running Volk GT series wheels in 19 x 8.5, from offset +48 to +34 without any serious issue, and many are listed int he thread. You'll be safe as long as you stay in that range.

If you sway from Volk, you really need to test fit, or see someones rims installed and get thier specs.
Another example is those Privat Netz from Revolution Signworks. Those barely clear the brembos in a 19x8 +30 offset, again 15mm wider than stock.

I hpe this is helpful as you search for wheels. I say go Volks. I was opposed to spending a lot on Rims for a while, but your wheels really define your car, and Volks are some the finest made.

Probably so... That's gonna look real interesting in gold. Falkens again?

You're gonna win too, you have a local wheel shop working for you. I have to wait for Gruppe-S to Fedex them across the country, order tires, and then find a trustworthy shop to mount the tires without hurting my $$$ Volks.

i'm gonna be taking delivery of my rims in person =) and they wont have the change to get damaged through the mail. i'm not going with Falken this time...i didn't like the FK-452 because it has a light LIP protection so the tire bulges out a bit and i can't lower the car as much, but that's probably also because i'm running a +30mm offset with my 19s....so with the +43 offset, i should be able to go lower...i'm going with Toyo T1Rs...got a smoking price on them too...just wondering through...how much did you pay for your rims?
