Will 235/50/R17 be ok to put on stockies? They are blizzaks and I am planning to use them in winter only. Can anyone tell me if those measurements are ok? Thanks!

Questions on Wheels
Wheel Make/Model: MRR HR-4
Wheel Size: 20x9 5x114
Wheel Offset:+40
If lowered (amount): Not yet but eventually. Also don't mind getting fender rolled/pulled.

not bad at all... dial in a bit of negative camber and you're golden... course if you slam it that's gonna require more than just a tiny bit of negative camber

Which tire?
235/40/18 or 245/40/18?

Any and all suggestions please. I am trying not to roll the fenders either.
needs 5mm spacer... either tire works

that's gonna be about flush with the fenders, I'd run them with 235/40-18

if it is solely for the winter and you don't plan to do any spirited driving, you can get away with it... it will throw off your speedometer

the fronts do not clear the brembos, so you will need a 10mm spacer in the front

run them with 225/35-19 tires up front and 245/35-19 tires in the rear should not require any modification at all

What do you mean it will throw off the speedometer? So this isn't a great idea huh? It's hard looking for winter tires in the OE size. What about 245 40 R 17? Would that be better?

running 235/35/19 on the fronts would be a bad idea then?

x2 Thanks for the info stillhere.

I just called Enkei and the salesperson told me there is no such size/offset as 18x8.5 +40 but I see it clearly on their spec sheet, but he insisted no such size exists...maybe I will check with a distributor.

Wheel Offset (+**): F +38, R +42
Drop (amount): Tanabe DF210 (1.6"F, 1.4"R)

As for the tire size...Throw me some sizes that would save me from rolling the fenders (if possible), if not then, throw me a size for rolled fenders, thanks man

Will they fit?....dont like tire streching.

Will they look good on my NBP?....https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-tires-wheels-suspension-97/ever-considered-these-tsw-rims-754069/

Much appreciated![/QUOTE

you will most likely need spacers in the front to make the wheel clear your brembos. should be fine with a 5mm spacer puting it at 37mm in the front
Sorry for the late reply but yes they will fit perfectly. Im getting mine setup tmrow, and ive asked the garage guys. It'l be a perfect fit, no spacers needed. And it would deff look great on a nbp..like mine :p pics should be up soon

Would I have any problems running these rims on my '04 automatic TL w/ Aspec body kit? I'm at the stock hieght now but would like to drop it 1"-1.5".

fronts - 19x8 w/46mm offset & 235/35/19 tires
rear - 19x8.5 w/40mm offset & 245/35/19 tires

Could I run a 265/30/19 on the back without any issues?

Anybody got these wheels on their TL?

Hey guys i was looking into getting the Axis Elite 19 in rims. im looking at these two sizes as a possible root.

19x8 offset either 35 or 45

or

19x9.5 with an offset of 40

will both of these fit on my TL with about 1.5" drop?

The size are 17x8 offset +47 and 17x9 offset +53 ... would i run into any issues ? how would it look as far as sitting inside the fenders , dont have the tires on them yet so thats not an issues yet and the car will be dropped on coilovers a reasonable amount ... thanx

stock is 17x8 +45

so for your specific wheels I'd try to exceed factory fitment in terms of offset

in the front run a 5mm spacer and in the rear a 10mm spacer

looking at putting axis penta 19x8.5 front, 19x9.5 rear, offset 40, tires 235/35 front, 265/30 rear, will that work? and if yes, will I be able to drop it later without camber? (presently stock height)

19x9.5 40 offset 265/30-19 is the exact size combo I am planning on doing in my rear. I've been told it should work with a 1.3 inch rear drop, but I dont know if rolling fenders or negative camber will be needed.

Hopefully someone can chime in on that one.

I have a 04 tl with stock wheels. I want to get tsw doniongton wheels for it and I am not sure if they will fit. The stock wheels i know are 17x8 and i know they make the doningtons in 17x8. does anyone know if they will fit? thanks

stock wheels are 17x8 +45

if you decide to go 17x8 keep the offset between +30 and +45

Rotiform BLQ:
Wheel Size (19X8.5) 5X112 (mostly concerned about bolt pattern)
Wheel Offset (+45)
If lowered (amount):Not yet

Thanks!

Wheel Make/Model: Rota P45R
Wheel Size (**X**): 19x9.5 (front and back)
Wheel Offset (+**): 30mm
If lowered (amount): Neuspeed Supercup Kit w/ sport springs: 2nd to bottom perch front/ bottom perch rear

Also wondering what tire sizes (if any) could make this work...

Thanks
