18x8 +45 would require a 10-15mm spacer believe they have a lower offset that you can get with just a 5mm spacer

These two wheels have been posted before but I am not going that aggressive of a set up. Thanks for the help.

I'm running a 245/35/19 tire, wondering if the TPMS will fit?

Thanks Stillhere. I havent decided on rubber yet. Ideas would be appreciated. The 17s will probably end up with stock size tires. Unsure of the 18s.

TPMS will fit 100%.

If it doesn't just screw in, you can always get sensor straps from ANY tire store, or get TPMS adapters from iForged. It WILL work.

04 TL Auto
Eurosport Euro 6
Offset +35
No DDrop - Stock Suspension
19 x 8.5 Front --- 245/40/19
19 x 9.5 Rear --- 265/40/19 or 275/35/19 or 255/40/19 or whatever you think will be best matching look in the front.

I've seen guy here with 20" rims with 245/35/20 so I'm wondering if my above tires will work for the 19" rims.

If the 19 x 8.5 -- 245/40/19 will fit in the front without dropping the suspension what would be the closest (or the best matching look) for the rear between the three tire choices above. I would prefer to have the same hight of the tires as the front without having the lip of the rims sticking out.

Thanks in advance.

in the front 245/35-19 is what can be installed... any other size will throw off the speedometer

for the rear 19x9.5 +35 I would also run 245/35-19... if you run 255/30-19 or 255/35-19 even at stock height you may need to roll the rear fenders

Sorry to keep bothering you. I thought I was set until I heard something about the "centre bore" of the wheel.

The rims I'm getting is coming from a maxima and everything is the same except the "centre bore". The maxima has a stock center bore of 66.1 while the TL has a stock center bore of 64.1. Is this going to be a problem?

Thanks. The rims that I'm getting is also an aftermarket rims that used to be in a Maxima. I just thought that I only need to worry about the offset, bolt pattern, and of course the size (which are all the same as the TL). But reading more about it, there is this thing about "centre bore".

Do I need to worry about this or do I just get the proper lug nuts?

both maxima and tl have 5x114.3... depending on the hub bore of that wheel you will need hub centric rings which are $8 on ebay

Going to run 245/40/18's too. Don't think it will rub and since its wider and lower offset I'm assuming its gonna clear?

clears the brakes but that tire is a little too wide unless you raise your ride to allow for clearance and run camber kit.... evo fitment

those wheels will likely require a 10to15mm spacer to clear

If lowered (amount):Wife won't allow it.

Just bought the car. Got an alignment at work. While it was on the rack, I checked the front for clearance. Looks like plenty of room, just want to be sure. I don't like the stretched look of the 235's.

+25 would be the absolute lowest without stretching tire... mild drop friendly, dumped can't do it without stretching

wait you want to put 265/40-17 on the stock 17x8 +45 wheels... DONT
255/40-17 is more than enough trust me

should clear your rotora rotors (they aren't protruded as the factory brembos are)

I'd run 255/35-18 if you are slammed you will need to roll rear fenders...

I forgot to mention, my car is a automatic, and not lowered, and will never be lowered.
In that case I'd opt for the wider tire setup just for ride comfort

So if I get these tires, it won't require fender rolls? If I get the A-Spec suspension, will I need to roll my fenders then?

The thing is, if I am rolling on 20's I want to have a 35 series tire front and back as 30 series are just insanely skinny....can I do that?

that's correct no modifications required, you'd need to roll fenders if you went lower than 1.5" and you're not going lower than that with aspec

225/35-20... ???
that's the only tire with a 35 sidewall that'll work without messing w/ the speedo much

what if I run a 245, 35, 20? does this make the tire's thicker,

if so that is what I want with no rubbing with my oem suspension. I just don't want rubberband tires because I might damage the rims.

That sounds great! However, the very few threads I've seen where people do have +22 wheels, there's always talk of "poke", which I take to mean, the tire/wheel going beyond the fender. Assuming I get the tires (225/40/19) w/ or w/out the a-spec kit, will the wheels exhibit "poke"? Will the only way to get rid of the "poke" be to lower it further and get a camber kit?

Sorry for so many questions, I got a killer deal on my wheels, but am considering selling them if it ends up being too much trouble or ends up looking silly when mounted.

will it clear my bbk?
what tires should i run?
do i need fender mod?
should clear your rotora rotors (they aren't protruded as the factory brembos are)

I'd run 255/35-18 if you are slammed you will need to roll rear fenders...
thanks for the help!
another question
my car is lowered, but the rear has a camber kit so the camber is in stock spec
do i need to dial in some - camber to fit this?

that tire size although will fit, is not withing factory spec and I cannot say that it is even safe

I remember a buddy of mine put that tire size on his car and he'd actually rub on big bumps... even at stock height

the "poke" is not a bad thing... I dont call it "poke" ... I call it FLUSH

what is "factory spec" some shops just put it at what the machine tells them too... I'd want it at -2 and possibly may not need to roll the rear fenders, and if it is needed it will be a mild roll

you will have to mild streth tires and dial in negative camber, full roll and slight pull all around
fr. 225/40-19
rr. 235/35-19

Heyy,

I need more opinions on rims...

Transmission: Auto
Year/Trim: 05 base
Wheel Make/Model: EXE Image
Wheel Size: 19x8.5 all around OR staggered with 19x8.5/f and 19x9.5/r (can't decide which to do yet)
Wheel Offset: The 8.5 comes in +45 and +35, the 9.5 comes only in +40
If lowered (amount): About 1.5 f/r

I'm in love with the flush look... but without too much negative camber and tire stretching. I also want to stay away from modifying the fender in any way to fit the rims/tires. Is it possible to get a nice flush look with the 8.5s all around or will I have to go wider for something like that? What are the recommended sizes for these rims in either option?

Thanks in advance.
