19x8.5 +22 225/35-19
19x9.5 +30 235/35-19 (semi-stretched)
rear would need to be rolled... front likely won't rub if you arent slammed
+30 should be fine....

Down for a photoshoot?

Shit my mistake ... I meant 18x9.5 and changed offset to +37
235/40/18's? I might be considering raising my car a little as well ...
2006 TL
Wheel Make/Model: 5Zigen ZR+520
Wheel Size: 18x9.5
Wheel Offset: +37
If lowered (amount): Tein Basics (1/2" thread left--top of tire sits parallel with fender ... maybe little tuck)
Rear fenders are already rolled, portions of the front have already been cut
235/40/18's? I might be considering raising my car a little as well ...

255/35-18 works
255 in the rear no rolling required
265 in the rear rolling required

Couple questions for you Stillhere:
Transmission (Manual or Auto): Manual
Year/Trim (04-07, Base or Type S): 2004
Wheel Make/Model: Volk GT-7
Wheel Size (**X**): 19" X 8"
Wheel Offset (+**): 40mm
If lowered (amount): 1.5 in.
Will they clear the BBK? Will they fit nicely in general. Will I notice going from a 8.5" tire to an 8" tire? These are coming off a TSX...does the TSX and TL have the same hub size?
Thanks!

since you are not lowered you will never rub... in the future if you plan to lower... your tire choice will need to be thought out

Year/Trim: 05 Base
Wheel Make/Model: Volk LE37

At the offset +30 with a 8.5 wheel width.. Assuming the tire size is 235/40R18. Would the wheel sit past the edge of the fender? So on a hard dip it may still chop on the edge?

I ran 18x9 +25 all around with 245/40-18 and never sliced tire with a 1.5" drop
#1059
how will the fitment be on these? I lowered with now wheel gap in the rear, slight tuck in the front.
Fronts - 19x8.5 ET35 with Toyo T1R 245/35/19
Rears - 19x9.5 ET45 with Toyo T1R 275/30/19

it may require a 3mm spacer, you'd really have to test fit
#1065
hey
2008 tl type s
wheel axis penta
size front : 18x8
offset: 35 with 5 mm spacer (35 + 5mm = offset will be 30 right?)

size rear : 19x8.5
offset : 35
tire: 245/35/19
Anyone know if these will clear? or it will look stupid?

I would like to use 245/35/19 all around. I will be using a camber kit in the rear to bring it to stock spec. Will it rub or do I have to roll the fender? if yes, will using a 235/35/19 make a difference? I really dont want to roll the fenders

def will need a spacer
they'll fit fine, they've been done before... will not look funny since ur staggering tires you wont be able to notice the 5mm difference in offsets
you will not rub you're good to go

Thanks for your response stillhere, I have another tire question for ya.
Questions on Tires
Wheel Make/Model: Axis Speed
Wheel Size (**X**): 19x8.5
Wheel Offset (+**): 35
If lowered (amount): None planned, but if done would be around an inch
What size tires would be right for this rim? The roads I drive on often have potholes and I'd like for my rims to be adequately protected.

Wheel Size (**X**): 19 x 8.5
Tire Size (***/**/**) 245/40/19 or 245/35/19
Wheel Offset (+**): Not Sure what is best
If lowered (amount): Stock Suspension
I just wanted to know what would be the best "offset" (or a range that you can advise) so that it will be a flush as possible without rubbing or damaging anything using the stock suspension.
Will a 245/40/19 fit or should I go with the 245/35/19?
I would prefer the 40 if possible as I drive in a lot of bad roads but still want to put the biggest rims that will fit without hurting anything.
Thanks in advance.

245/35-19 is the best tire size I'd run with an offset between +35 and +45[/quote]
Thanks for the advise and the quick response. You really helped a lot. Just one more stupid question then I'm set. I try to read as much as I can regarding with this whole "offset" thing.
I know that a positive offset brings the tire outside towards the body of the car and I know that a negative offset brings the tire towards the rotors.
I've also read that +35 will bring the tire further out than a +45 so I'm a little confuse. Is this true? Which one will really make my tires closest to the outside body of the car? +35 or +45. Thanks again.

you have the axis incorrect think of positive and negative integers.... the closer to 0 the less far away from the car....
+45 is closer to the car +35 is further
you need a +35 offset
