Are you going to be lowered? If not, then yes that will fit. I suggest you should get some kind of suspension because if you don't, it'll look like a 4x4 sedan.

If lowered (amount):I plan on getting Tein S-techs and Tokico blues, so about a 1.5" drop.

I'll be running this on an 04 and it is a manual. I just want to know if this will work, and if so, what offsets to run. Any input on tire sizes would be helpful too.
I'm looking to get the deepest dish possible, without rolling the fenders, nor using spacers. I'll probably stretch a 225 tire on the rims. Just need to know the best matching offset

i'm not lowered yet...but these are what I am looking at...getting a helluva deal on them...unfortunatley not 19" but 18's are not bad either...
Specs are:
Fit: 5x114.3
(Front) 18x9.5 (offset +33) . . . 2.5 inch Lip (A-DISK)
(Rear) 18x10 (offset +22) . . . 4.5 inch Lip (O-DISK)
Tires are: 235/40/18 (Falken 912)

would this work? how much would I have to roll the fenders...hope there is no pull needed. any input would be great. I am looking at lowering the car just with springs at this time as I cannot be bothered to pay for coils....thanks guys

If lowered (amount): I am already lowered on Nuspeed Sport (1.75(F)/1.5(R)) and my fenders were rolled alread.
Tires: 225/35/19 in the front and 235/35/19 for the rears.

Do I really need the fender pull for the rear or will the previous fender roll work?
yes you will have to pull the fendeers slightly

Rim info:
XXR 522 gold concave staggered rims
Diameter: 19"
Width: Front 8.5" Rear 10"
Bolt Patterns: 5x114.3, 5x120
Offset: Front +15 Rear +20 OR Front +38 Rear + 42

Anybody have this exact setup with pictures or wheels that have these same specs? I imagine the +38/+42 to fit better than the +15/+20. Will they clear the calipers and not rub with fenders? I am planning a 1-1.5" drop in the near future as well.

Thanks in advance!
yeah I think they won't clear the brembos at the +38... I'd say with a 5mm spacer they would... the lower +15 and +20 offset is just way too low... but you can contact "bforbrian" he can help you out on getting the lower offset to fit

I read in a search query that someone else was fine running a 265/30/19 on a 19x10 +40 with no fender mods.

What's the maximum size tire I can run with that setup that requires no fender mods?

Will i have issues on any model 3rd gen?
yeah 265/30-19 is the widest treadwidth because anything wider and you have to make sure it doesn't rub the strut

What tires will fit over these rims without any sort of rubbing , fender rolling, or wheel spacers? Is this a feasible setup?
235/35-19 or 245/35-19front
255/30-19 rear (might require rolling)
245/35-19 all around will not require rolling

I believe there is +35 offset, but they do not clear the brakes with that offset, 5mm spacer in this case tires would have to be 235/35-19

you wont have to stretch the 225 on the front of the pentas... for the rear there's a x9.5 I believe that is a hefty enough lip

Thanks for the answers stillhere153, I originally asked this:

2006 Acura TL Base

Rim specs:
XXR 006
Size: 2 Front Rims are 19X8.5 about 2" Lip
Size: 2 Rear Rims are 19X9.5 about 3" Lip
Bolt Pattern: 5X4.5 (114.3) and 5X120
Offset: +35mm

Future drop:
1-1.5"

Aside from just having to use 245/35-19 size tire. Will the rims clear the stock brakes without any type of spacers and things? Thanks again!! Great Thread!

your description states "BASE" so I gather you DO NOT have brembos... you do not? then don't worry about "brakes"

if you rock a 205 on a x9.5 you got BALLS OF BRONZE... mb makes some slightly higher offsets on that specific wheel...
it'll fit w/ rolling the fronts and dialing in some negative camber... but don't go over 60mph

Glad I found out about the spacer ahead of time. I would have been pissed if I got my rims, only to find out that I needed to order a spacer and wait again Should I run a spacer on all 4 rims?

I have two general questions.

1. What would need to be done to get 19x9 to fit for front and rear with a slight drop? (i.e. Tein HTECH).

2. What would be the best offset for a 19x8.5 wheel? I want a flush look that doesn't rub. I want to get the wheel as far out of the well as I can without making any fender adjustments, etc. If I dropped the car it would be on Tein HTECH or the A-spec.

you can dial in a tiny bit of negative camber and roll the front fenders, just make sure you have someone who knows what they are doing roll ur fronts

that or you can stay above 1.5" drop

1. the wheel has to have an offset between +30 and +40 and you can wrap that around 245/35-19

2. 19x8.5 +35 245/35-19 all around

Wheel size vs ride quality

I just picked up my first TL, '07 Type-S 6M and I'm looking at wheels. I can see that most members are going with 19x8.5 and I have ruled out 20x8.5 for fear of poor ride quality. I'm considering dropping 1" in the future, should I go with 19x8.5 or 18x8.5? Does ride quality suffer considerably?

Wheel Make/Model: Enkei Aletta
Wheel Size:17 X 7.5
Tires: Kumho Ecsta ASX 235/45/17
Wheel Offset: 38 or 45
Car: 05 Acura TL AT

Will these fit on my existing tires? Thinking of switching from the OEM wheels to these. Thanks!

Wheel Make/Model: Enkei RPF1
Wheel Size (**X**): 18x9.5 front 18x10.5 rear
Wheel Offset (+**): +15, +15
If lowered (amount): 2.5in

i want an aggressive offset and if i get these i'd def raise my car a tad. my question is will they poke too much to the point where it looks really stupid? a little poke is ok for me but nothing excessive.. im also considering:

Would this work and clear the Brembos for a '07 TL-S lowered on Eibach Pro-Kit?

Thanks!

Will this fit without any problems and also will it affect my speedo much

Thanks
on the first set of wheels they fit fine, REAR TIRES SHOULD BE 255/30-20

on the second set the rear will have to be rolled and again the tire size is 255/30-20

the 19 is definitely less cushion than the 18
my rule is 19 with a lip
18 w/out

18 with lip look tiny

that offset is on the low side... so you will have to stretch tires... the +22 is far better looking than the +15

if you don't have brembo they fit, but I would go with the +38 offset

NO... that will easily require a 19mm spacer

will an offset greater then 50, make the wheels extend out, causing rubbing on the fender?

I want to make my wheels flush (I havent put them on yet), so i don't want a tucked in look. I'm running on 245\40\19 x 8.5 offset 40. I hope this would flush, you think I need spacers? and they are deep dish, 1.75 lip (not that deep)

if your car is Auto and NOT a type s... spacers are not required

note: the higher the offset the further away from the fender

thus +40 is closer to the fender than +50

TIRES: that tire size is NOT correct, you need 245/35-19

New member, '07 TL automatic, stock all around and it's time for wheels and tires, looking for some advice:

Wheel Make/Model: basically mesh style wheels, considering axis penta, work vs-xx, MRR GT-1
Wheel Size (**X**): debate is 19"vs 20", 8.5 vs 9.5 and to stagger or not
Wheel Offset (+**):
If lowered (amount):none

is there any benefit either way 19 vs 20, I heard can't stagger 20"
want as much deep lip as I can get, would be ok to be at wheel-well edge as long as tires not sticking out

Why is it incorrect, I've seen ppl with 245/45/19 before, what's the difference with 245/40/19? and isn't 245/35/19 considered low profile? I didn't want low profile, but 245/40/19 isn't that much of a difference.

Here is a tire size calculator , put in your stock size and the 245/40/19 and it will tell you the error caused by the sizing . In reality you should be running a 235/35/19.
