call insurance and tell them something hit your call while you were driving

most insurance policies will have you replace for free, some ask you to pay just the ded....

EDIT: yup that tint job (PS skills) looks great....

sway links replaced. holy crap. night and day difference.

basically i have been driving around without a sway bar since august. LOL. the link on my drivers side completely broke and separated. car feels awesome now, and i can finally feel the improvements of the type-s shocks now, as compared to just the lowering effect before.

i took some pictures, but now my home computer hasn't been reading my SD card, and it wants me to reformat...not gonna reformat and lose 350 shots. no way in hell. which is starting to piss me off a lot.

this weekend i plan to tackle my front pads, and i think i may finally go get some paint and mess with the stockies, the rear trim piece, not sure though.

thanks buddy. it's about the only thing i do that's close to art or being creative, so i gotta give it 100% right?

well, so more bad news about my car.

last night rocked a pothole like none other. instant flat. tire is ruined and i suspect same with 1 rim. i mean i hit it HARD. never hit one that hard before.

so i'm going to change it, and go to pull out the spare, well the plastic flange nut is broken so i can't get it off. buddy comes by and we brake the plastic to get to the real nut...need to go for sockets, then i realize i don't have my lug lock key...so drive 15 miles to my house to search for it, and can't find it.

so as of right now, i def need a tire, which means i'll need a pair since you gotta stay even on the front diff...was lining up coils, depending how this goes over i may have to postpone that for awhile

gotta wait at least until 9am to call the tire place and see if i had road hazard for it...a $18 tire would be a life saver!

so i got a question...do you guys have any ideas on a 17" rim set for about $350-400? if it comes to that...

awesome! i did have protection so new tire ordered. worried about the rim though.

still need to find my damn lock key so i can get the spare on though

^^^ holy shit dude....

i know man. that's the plan. if i need even 1 rim...it would be almost worth it to get a set of 4 and keep the tires i have now. but i'm a cheap bastard, so if i can keep it at like $20 i'll be very happy

so last night the tire shop was nice enough to lend me their bucket of old/lost lug keys. ended up having 7 the right style to try, none worked. tried the key for my dad's accord to no avail.

so now i'm seeing if its possible to order a lock key using my VIN number, since my buddy works at acura.

fingers crossed!

Hey, I recognize that Campana building. Your TL is looking clean. I would love to hear your mid-muffler delete sometime since I have been contemplating on doing it myself.

yeah that's basically where i'm at now on it. if i don't move it soon the city will more than likely tow it. BUT...everything i've read says that will only work with an impact gun or it will just eat up the lug nut. so i really don't know what to do other than just eat the $75 for a tow and the $40 for a key. but what if i dont have an OEM key!?!? then i'll be really fucked and paying a dealer to remove. so idk.

i've asked my tech friend already, they won't help you unless you physically bring in the lug nut. so i'm going to try the hammer/socket method today.

This was my first actual attempt at getting something moving...usually only deal with static. Me and that guy, Bud, are working on getting in with some local drift crews, so we're kinda practicing together.

Overall, I was really happy how they turned out

industrial parks on sundays give you a decent amount of time to go play. but we never spend more than 5 minutes at a spot just to be safe
