A thread about veggie (Update 5/24/12)
so since i want to post (a) picture(s) like once every 3 weeks when i do something small, and generally free, i'll just do this now.
2004 base NBP TL, 6mt, all original with 140k when purchased Dec-2010.... currently @ 150k with the following:
-Type-s shocks paired with h&r sport springs
-midmuffler delete aka stg1 exhaust
-debadged rear
-blox weighted shift knob
here's the pictures i have so far.
about 3 weeks after purchasing
previous damage from prior to purchase (it's w/e, not gonna be a show car)
ended up getting into a small accident, here's after a new bumper, fender, and partial hood fix. the previous damage is still on the hood tho
cool cellular picture i got
waxed for what i'm 99% sure was the first time ever...
installing the shocks/springs....such a bad idea to start at 12:15 in the sun on a 95* day....didn't get shade until 7 pm LOL
as you can see, i am DYING to get new rear tires. so if anyone reading this has a pair of usable tires to help a brother out (cheap shit? idgaf), i'm really getting afraid now, let me know please
still trying to decide how to properly attach the boot to this skunk style knob
scoring some free oil/nitrogen from a buddy
FOREVERALONE.IMG lol
i enjoy this one, another questionable quality cellular picture (they all are, who am i kidding...)
2 days ago i decided to debadge her
and apparently my thumbnail was strong enough to scratch the clear....
that's about it. and then also, i'll show you guys the family dedication to the J-series.
135k on the '07, 259k on the '98, and 151k on the '04 (the accords are auto though, a 4AT and a 5AT)
soon i'll be getting a little shady and lowering my car some more. dead coils, you shall not be missed.

i'm not sure. i think if everything went perfectly i would get the aspec rear, and a 07-08 base front bumper with a lip. another member with a WDP on here has that front end setup, and i really liked it.
flame ready....i'm not the biggest fan of the aspec lips...

oh boy, i totally forgot!
so i have sap everywhere. looking for the Ammonia, i stumbled across this stuff
and after about 5 min on each side with some fine steel wool i had all but about 3 spots in each tip completely shiny and black paint free. going to go back at it in a few days with a steel brush and make some BKF paste to eat that paint.
if you look closely in this picture (just not edited version of my OP) you can see how shiny they look compared to the black inside

oh nice, i creeped your profile for pictures. was going to xpost but it wouldn't let me view them very long....weird.
yes sir, i'm still on the other AZ! don't post much in the technical area anymore though.
for plans, i want to get a set of 18x9 all around, with a 245 tire...maybe a 255 if the car will allow. rolled fenders, maybe a slight pull (not enough to flare the edge that runs perpendicular to the ground on the wheel well if you follow me)
but for something realistic and within the next month(s)
-spacers
-window tint
-window visors
-rear swaybar
-Jpipe + PCD's (maybe the HFPC though)
-maybe the navi conversion
-fixing my brembo's with new powdercoat
other than that, my big plan is to get this thing past 300k miles.

awwwww thanks.
i'll be surprised if this thread doesn't end up with some haters....i'm not going to spend a few months pay on wheels, so it'll have rota's or something. and i'm really not sure if i want to go alloy/gunmetal, or get some white wheels, or even something crazier like my old purple wheels, or even candy teal.
but....if everything went well, i would like to buy wheels like these...
going for fitiment like this
but no bags allowed!
close second would be
maybe tied with these for second

thanks swoosh, you're the man!
oh yeah. for sure. i'd rather spend more on good tires or suspension than on wheels. rota's are great light wheels for being 1 piece monoblocks. not to mention, those that hate them and distrust their quality, have been posting the same images for 10 years.
my last set of rota's/wheels
just a good coat of powder makes them look 3x the value.

i actually ended up not doing it since i couldn't use my phone to search on here. this place needs mobi, or tapatalk capabilities!
so i didn't want to start pulling my bumper off while my dad is over there fucking with his tractor. he gets really anal, and if i don't act like "i got dis, pops" he starts getting bitchy. plus it was another sunday where i needed the car for work the next AM, and who knows what i would find in the process.
i think i'm going to do it today. supposed to be no rain here (and we got like 3" and hail this weekend) today.....but my neighbor's 05 fp red evo gets tuned on E85 today....that *might* take priority LOL

^ When I stated that slapping stickers on a entry level luxury car was ricey and looked cheap in another thread, I couldn't figure out why you were so defensive...then I noticed this pic...
Anyway....Yes you use glossy black vinyl and a hair dryer to wrap your trim. That front bar your want to black out is a pain in the ass because of the horizontal grooves, so take your time with it.
Or just cover your trim with stickers!!!

yes, you noticed the sticker i had on my car to lure in people that assumed a sticker=ricer with no mods. which served it's purpose of "yah i have purple rims and don't care your opinion" as well.
that car had more in mods than my TL is worth. hell, 2x even. not that it matters really to you, but i think my $1 sticker was fine, and i had the power to back it up.
and ya know, i think i'm going to take my trim off and sticker bomb it, and rock that.

so i did the intake resonator delete yesterday
this was actually extremely easy to take off, and reinstall. even by myself. the DIY videos made it seem easy, but not that easy lol.
and you can see in the corner, i smashed the crap out of it (not really i just split the seam) so that i could use the tube that goes into the bottom of the air box.
reinstalled it and i also forgot that i have some yellow fogs as well
while i was doing that, i also did the throttle body coolant bypass. together they definitely made a difference and am happy with my 1.5 hours of time spent.
