The rear Type-S sidemarker connector DOES NOT fit the USR connector. It requires dremeling out the entire side of the USR connector to make it fit. Once I had it right and it tested okay, I hit it with a bunch of hot glue and then electrical taped the shit out of it. Note this is only a problem with the Type-S rear markers---the fronts fit fine.
I wasn't real happy with needing to cut them up right out of the box, but I understand building for the most cars possible.
Now for my review---I hate these markers. Let me qualify:
1) Im a white-amber-white switchback guy. The USR fronts do not do this. No biggie---USR states pretty clearly how they work. Caveat emptor.
2) I think rear sidemarkers should be red all the time. If they blink---okay. But they should blink red.
3) With any LED sidemarkers, you need to replace the OEM filament type turn signal bulbs. LEDs switch on & off much cleaner than bulbs and will be out of synchronization if you mix them. This means resistors are needed---do the research, there are several options you need to consider.

Now for my review---I fkn LOVE these markers. Let me justify my love and qualify:
1) Im a white guy that loves Amber (Aaron's girl?). The USR fronts do everything I want them to!
2) I think rear sidemarkers should be red when they blink. and they should blink red and they do so I'm SOOO HAPPY!
3) With any LED sidemarkers and turn signals, resistors are needed---do the research, there are several options.
4)I nicked my coinpurse while shaving it earlier, and I love cookies and cream ice cream from blue bell. This bullet is totally unrelated though.
My :50 cent:

alright guys, met up with dave (dwb993) and john (ebelp) yesterday for a mod session. we did a 3x3 and pressure switches on john's type-s and we installed puddle lights on daves AM TL. everything went smooth, and since it was such a beautiful day...we decided to take some pictures. john (being the master photographer that he is) offered to bust out his fancy camera and get the job done.
dave's TL could not make the photo sesh, as his side skirts were off the car.
great to meet you john and thanks for the pics!

HA! I love this pic---not only do you see us messing with the doorsills in the background, but when Laurie & I were looking at it, we were both like, "WTF is that sh*t on the hood?". Then we saw it was the clouds reflecting off of it!!
Absolutely stunning pics, John.

Awesome shots though, love them all. I'm guessing John took all these?

^Yeah, Aaron's front camber is crazy. He has at least a couple more degrees than I do, and my Skunk2's are maxed out! Here's another shot that shows off the camber:
