Aaron, I had the same LED problem. Anil and I had to open the driver's side headlight twice, just to get it fixed....sorry about that, brother.

2000. that was for materials, both front seats, back seat, all headrests with type-s embroidered in front 2, all 4 door panels, armrest, back armrest.
that was one expensive and time consuming core charge for taking my battery back. next time ill save the 12 bucks and keep it.

If it weren't for the battery spilling, you wouldn't have one of the sickest car interior here on AcuraZine forums like you do now lol.

What color is your type-s ?

And look at it this way...you could TECHNICALLY start up a "core exchange" program with your original set so someone ELSE wouldn't have to be "down" for 4 months either! Sell your oem interior to someone for $800 (or less) and deliver it to your guy and then have him do what he does and ship to the member directly.

I mean, you have to TRUST a person doing work on that sort of thing and paying you $800 knowing it won't show up for 2 months...but it's a good idea at least.

dont put ideas in my head bro lol. it took 4 months. the guy is a one man shop soo it took that long cuz he had smaller projects come in here and there and i told him he could work them in and out cuz mine was a big job. mans gotta get paid right lol? if you are anyone is interested in doing it i could always talk to him. shipping would be the bitch though.

shipping would be...but that way your interior that's sitting there collecting dust could be bought from you! then your custom interior would have cost you $1200...

AND, it would allow someone else to not have down time too!

I think i misinformed somehow....used interior 800+ seat job 2000. So its a total of 2800. I dont wanna sell my other one cuz if i ever trade car i can put stock in and sell my two tone! But another idea is to let him use my stock interior and seat covers to make seat covers for someone else. Since no company makes a seat cover for the tl-s, he had to take my seat covera and sew each new peice to create a seat cover. Id always be willing to let him rent my stock seats to make covers to ship out. That way hes just shipping covers and not seats! Its an idea....and a good one. Or maybe ill have him use my seats to make a template since no other companys do. I think im on to something.

Real rear Brembo conversion would easily cost $1,000+ (parts, fabrication, etc.) and is basically a cosmetic mod since the increase in performance over the OEM rear calipers would be marginal (if anything). Brembo covers = $20 on ebay. Easy math.

More than most would pay...I believe it was $2000, and took 4 months, plus the $800 on the spare set.

alright so friday afternoon i got started on the wheels...here it is from start to finish.

jack up car and take off wheels

clean the living hell out of your wheels

use rubbing alcohol afterwards for a clean canvas

grab your gear. i used 4 cans of plasti dip and 3 cans of purple

painters tape on valve stems

i did the inside barrels first and did 3 coats of plasti dip

time for the fronts...i did 5 coats of plasti dip here

i let the plasti dip cure for 12 hours and then did purple

oh i also painted my lug nuts to match my calipers

i really need a proper photoshoot because my iPhone doesn't do it justice. they look almost blue in the pics, but i assure you they are very purple. i'm very happy with the outcome!

what do you guys think?

So much win. So the paint on the lugs didn't chip off as soon as you put a socket on them?
