Yea I think 18's look better in my opinion. It lets you run a bigger tire and the wheels don't look overpowering. You still should've gotten your Advans in 19's though.

Definitely agree on the 18s!
Lots of nice wheels are coming out only in 19" fitments though... sorta sucks.

The day Jeremy goes with the 19s, I'd scoop up his RS in a heartbeat!

Got the car back today. Feels so much better than before. It didn't seem like there was really anything wrong before but now the shifts seem to be much quicker than before and you can really tell a difference.

I'm so glad to have it back. I stopped coming on here as much because it pissed me off seeing everyone's greta looking cars on here only to know mine was broken down.

Saw Kj's garage pics and they made me want to take some too, although mine aren't anywhere as nice as his are. I also took a couple of videos of my exhaust. It's stage 3 with ATLP race pipe and RV-6 PCD's. In the second video you can hear it gurgle and pop...

I hear you on not wanting to look at everyone's cars with yours out of commission, but, at the same time, now we are looking at yours with a brand new trans and we are jealous!

Car is looking good man, glad it's back

Just got done washing, claying, and waxing the car. It's the first time its had a wash in like 2 1/2 months. It was dark when I finished everything so I may grab some pictures tomorrow even though it looks the exact same as it did before, just clean.

No real updates though. The new tranny is as smooth as butter, although I've noticed that sometimes I'll hear a weird click noise when the car downshifts or upshifts during WOT. Next time I go home I may take it to the dealer and make sure everything checks out fine.

Oh, I did finally get new tires this past week so I'm going to get my camber kit installed. I have to take it to a shop to get them put on since I can't do car work at our apartments. :fawk: What's it typically cost to get them put on?

Thanks for the kind words fellas.

Hopefully in the next few weeks I may try to go by a few body shops and get some quotes on having them fix my Aspec kit. I've got a few gaps on the sides of the front and rear lips and the double sided tape isn't wanting to hold it flush anymore for some reason. It's not noticeable to most people, but it pisses me off everytime I look at it.

My front lip has pretty big gaps too due to the shitty adhesive. I've put it lower on the priority list since I hit everything with it now

Don't waste money on something that will never be perfect and save for coils

I was fine with my springs but then Aaron pointed out a great deal on used coils and I pulled the trigger.

Haven't really done anything to the car in a long time. I'm just driving it and enjoying it. It was a nice day today so I said "screw class" and washed my car instead. In the coming weeks I'm planning to redip the grille, redo the CF wrap on the chrome above the license plate, and add a chrome strip to the front Aspec lip by the foglights kinda like how the 07-08's come from the factory. I'll have to remember to post some updates. Sometimes I forget and sometimes I figure most people don't care to see another Type S and iPhone pics.

Didn't take any pics but I did do a before and after of my exhaust tips because they were dirtier than hell. I always use BKF to clean them off and it's never let me down before. I'll let the pics do the talking.....

Here are a couple of random pics. One's from a meet we had in Atlanta. There's about 160 TL's in the group and had a good 35-40 at the little meet I went to.

And how she sits as of tonight.

Wow I can't believe how well BKF works.

Keep updating us, Ross, been forever since I've seen you on the forums! Minus some recent activity.

Thanks for the compliments guys. I'm going to try to start being active again on here.

And sadly my exhaust tips are turning gold again already.... Them being spotless was short lived.

So I've been thinking about extending my exhaust tips since they look sunken in with the Aspec kit on. Anybody know of anyone that's done it with the Type S tips?

I thought I could have them add some piping right behind both mufflers, instead of the tips, so that they'll stay perfectly staggered....

If I had a base they'd have been extended a long time ago. It's just that with having quads, I don't want them to screw up how they're staggered and make them uneven. Which is why I was thinking that maybe I could extend the entire muffler itself.

The ATLP and TE's looks awesome Austin.

The problem with moving the entire muffler is the hangars. I don't think it would be a problem extending them, they just need to take some measurements and make sure they're correct!!

Thanks, man!
