What tires? That was a decent price...
ZDX was fast and fun, got a lot of looks but it got sh*tty gas mileage!
J.

Glad you got your car back. Why are you trying to do something to the interior? Do footwell lighting, or racing pedals...don't cover a NON damaged center console please.

He got the car back?

Since it's dealer I am guessing it's the stock tires.

Not sure what kind of tires they were. I didn't think to ask.

I was thinking about going with Hankook V12's since I've seen quite a few people running them on here.

And I'd never wrap over the existing cf. That's why I'm at a loss on what to do on the interior since it seems like that's about the only thing people really ever do to their interior.

Need gas!!! What is that red strip on top of your wheel? Is it just lighting?

Found a roll of red pin striping tape so I cut a few strips and put it on top of the wheel. I think it looks pretty good, not sure if I'll keep it on or not though.

Definitely better in theory SB. The tape was too glossy so it didn't flow with the red accents in the car and just didn't flow well.

Need opinions. Would it look better to do 255/40 tires with no spacers, or 235/45 tires with 15/20 spacers?

Wider = Better. They just are.

Maybe compromise? 245/40s with something like 8mm front and 10 rears. That way you may not have to get extended lugs.

But why? It seems like you wouldn't be able to tell as much of a difference going from 235's to 245's but would be able to with 255's.

If 235/45 is 10lbs, 255/40 is 9lbs, 245/40 is 8lbs..... for example
and 245/40 has smaller sidewall than 255/40 has

Much better acceleration and

Where is Anil?

Paging Anil.

if going for summer tires, 255/40/17 IFFF you are making a lot of power....else 245/40/17 (provides decent traction, its lighter, better acceleration and braking)...

if going for winter tires, 225/45/17, since skinnier tires go through snow better

EDIT: now for spacers/etc, you will need to tell me what tire and wheel specs you are running right now and how much room you have between your fender and tires

Will the smaller sidewall on the 245/40's be noticeable coming from 235/45's?

Since I'm only on springs I don't have the option of going lower to get rid of any extra wheel gap, if there really even will be any.

That's 7.75mm difference
My 225/45s are 4.5mm different than my current OEM tires.

This was me when I received the 4.5mm shorter sidewall tires

and wondering how I will make those my winter tires.
Wasn't expecting that noticeable difference

Guess what, my tranny started to slip today and got a check engine light at the end of the day

A couple of years ago we got a few inches of snow and I took our loaner car out and had some fun. Went to turn the car back after the weekend and apparently they received "multiple" calls about how I was driving and said I was a huge liability.

Dammit Meko. Hope you get it sorted out. What codes is it throwing?

Edit
Sig changed.

That seems crazy to me assuming they had no evidence. Oh well, guess its time to find a new acura dealership.

If only. There's only 1 Acura dealer in my city, the next ones are about an hour away from here in Atlanta which is too much hassle.

I passed by the dealership (I think) when I was on vacation. Is it close to the Air Reserve Base?

Not the one in Macon. There could be one in Atlanta s that's close to a reserve base since they have like 5 Acura dealers but I honestly have no idea.
