Got some smaller Azine stickers... And lost the pinstripe.

And my new rain-guards will be in today so I'll throw those on too.

 

Looks nice....

but the sticker is crooked

 

I didn't notice it until after I put it on.


I'll wait until later to spill what other mod I did.

 

Well I got the rain guards put on. They look so much better than the other set since those were faded.

 

Is the other mod mix-matched doors and panels?

 

They seem to match pretty well to me?


Where's Tyler? I'm sure he'll appreciate the other mod.

Actually, you edited mention of the pinstripe out of the post and it still showed up on the instant email notification of the thread update.

I kept waiting for what was next.

 

I did it in white text, hence the lol.

I also decided to paint my engine covers while I was outside all day today too. They should be dry any time now so I'll snap a pic of those too.

I had those Brembo covers but they got messed up when I got my fenders rolled so I'm going to order a new set some time and match them to the front brakes like they were before.

I'll grab a couple of pictures tomorrow with our other camera. I would have today but I was tired as hell after being outside all day between taking off the pinstripe, putting on those rain guards, and painting the engine covers.

Here are the painted engine covers. I think the color is Torque N' Teal. And don't mention the missing front cover, I lost the clips for it when I was taking off my bumper one time.

Why I love this paint is because of the metalic look

 

That blue looks sick Meko. I think I'm going to redo mine now.

I decided to refinish my headlights today. The lights weren't that bad, but you can see the slight hazing on the driver side headlight in the first pic. I wetsanded them with 1000, 1500, 2000, and then 3000 grit sandpaper followed by Meguiars PlastX polish, and lastly Meguiars PlastX protectant. I may get a clear bra on the headlights tomorrow just to keep them looking good.

And the finished here's the finished product; they look brand new.

 

Buy the clips for the front bumper too dude...and where is battary cover?

Didn't you had black tint on the orange thing inside the headlight?

 

I did but took it off. It was matte and didn't really match since the headlights were glossy.
