John, are you familiar with how the fluorescent bulbs in office overheads have that plastic but that as you rotate is partially blacked out?! Maybe you could find something like that and run the strips though that so you can adjust how much light shows up?

That's the main reason I wouldn't do the headlight LED strips...seems like everyone has issues with them. If our headlight housings came apart easily, I'd almost consider it!

^ tell me about it. less than 6 months after installing halo's and LED strips, halos flickered and eventually stopped working and 3 bulbs on the LED strip burnt out...and i didn't evn run them that often. only at car shows, etc.

total crap.

I could never go that low.

1) Don't want to.

2) Tein won't let me!

I think it's between 23.25" and 23.5". Since you have 19's and I don't, you'll always have a little more ground clearance than me, even though you tuck way more tire than I do.

^that's kinda what i was thinking too.

i figured the 19's made a difference.

btw i think our rear drop is the close to the same, but my front is def lower than yours. i think i'm raising mine up 1/4" soon all around.

with my 19's and corrected camber I'm still at about 24" all around FTG front and back.

So definitely higher and that's on TEINS, Austin.

^I'd LOVE to see what you'd do with a set of Megans or ISC's.

Yes, I'm planting ideas in your head.

Aaron, your cars stance looks PERFECT....i mean the drop, the camber, the offset, the rims, the tires they just look perfect....i would def keep it as is....

but incase you are hitting a ton of bumps/scraping everywhere, then i bet we understand....but dont change a thing in your car IMO

thanks man.

i'm getting a weird noise up front drivers side, might be axle or cv joint or something. i don't scrape anywhere, only problem i have is pulling into inclinded parking lot entrances and such. it sucks...everytime...always sucks.

i understand what you mean....i think you are getting that metal noise from running a lot of neg camber...-3.5 is insane, honestly...try dialing that down a little bit to see if it helps with the noise....

and no one can help us with the inclined lot entrances.....

I hate inclines

FL is all flat except buildings and such, always built up to prevent flooding and that's horrible for lowered cars!

right. the noise didn't start til AFTER installing/adjusting the front ball joints. maybe i'll set them at -2.5 and see if that helps. i just maxed them out bc i got tired of rubbing/slicing my tires yanno?

Aaron, have you clunked since you modded the shock towers? I'm getting annoyed with my clunk...there are a few clunk spots on the way to work that I can't avoid unless I slow down to 5mph. Hate it.

Aaron...a little extra camber is better than rubbing....but running a camber kit at its max will put a lot of stress on the suspension setup...

John....my car (when slammed on Teins) used to clunk on this one patch on the highway and this is when i had 0.25' left on the threads....with these new (ISC) coilovers they do not clunk....however since you have used the preload spring to lower the car, i think thats why it clunks....if you raise the preload spring a little bit, i bet the clunking will stop

nope no clunk at all! before, when i hit bumps it would go "BOOOOOM!" and sounded awful. now, when i hit bumps you can literally feel the UCA go up and hit nothing and then go back down to its normal position. it's pretty neat.

true, that's how i feel as well. but i might take your advice and just get it closer to -2.5 or something more managable...1 degree of camber might help and it won't be that big of a difference in stance.

i just hate the sound i get, whenever i turn the wheel slowly to the left or right while parking i hear metal on metal grind from the front drivers side tire.
