Well the USR marker is an OEM marker with an extra set of LED's in it, so it's essentially the same thing. You'd just be using the USR's green lead wire to tap into the OEM blinkers since the green wire is what controls the red LED's.

^^^ yes you will have to:
1> modify the connector so that it doesnt connect to the white LED lead sitting in the connector
2> you will have to write the same relay (i mentioned in my prev post) and connect that to the green wire
3> you will have white leds doing nothing in there....
hence i mentioned doing this to the OEM sidemarkers is easier....
now i do not know how bright the stocks are....i know the USR non-blinking red sidemakers were bright and looked awesome....if we can do this to that sidemarker, it would be awesome....

This was always a big complaint with the Gerzand ones...they blink in sync with other indicators when lights are ON, but will blink opposite when parking lights and above are on.
Don't overcomplicate it...just run the whites.
And PS, I don't know that anyone recalls but I was the one that started the Asparagus thing in Tyler's thread so I will be the one that decides.
John will get cauliflower or snow peas since his ish is the white hotness. You guys decide.

Jer...i think his sidemarkers always blinked out of sync....
he has (in the video in his thread) the AW type front switchbacks but if you only concentrate on the Amber, you will see the sidemarker is out of sync....
either way, i might venture into this and see what i can come up with

I wouldn't...you got your hands full with all the coupon codes and getting people their ECU communications!
Yeah, that's what I said, they ALWAYS blinked out of sync. He mentioned that you could buy some smart circuit that would detect voltage and switch the way they blinked but it was more money than it was worth.

and yes you did mention they blink in sync....if you look closely, they never blink in sync whether the parking lights are on or off
btw how is your day coming along ?

Happy Friday!
Not sure what this means and I'm not going to ask.
The lack of pics in this thread is unacceptable. Here's a quick one as of this morning:
I got the 215's mounted yesterday and I put the 15mm spacers back on the front. No rubbing! The 215's made a big difference there (was running 225's before). Now I have to fight the urge to bump it to a 20mm spacer....wtf is wrong with me....

Just to be clear, the GERZAND relay mod DOES blink in sync when parking light off...but alternates when ON. Just think it'll look silly and after putting in the rear USR's and seeing them work flawlessly I don't see a point to trying to reinvent the wheel...Simon and his company and Anil for his feedback to him, have made a seemingly flawless product.
And for that, I'd consider putting on the thong, but not move to Kansas...I'll deal with Hurricanes all day, not tornados!

Got plenty of bird poop on my car...might as well let you skeet on it too, it'll blend right in.
Thanks though! I went a little crazy on the editing on that last one to make up for the shitty composition. There's too much going on in the background, which is just a distraction from the subject. Big photo faux pas! I need an entire day to set up shots just the way I want it...perfect lighting, perfect background, perfect angles, etc. Everything I post are just snap shots basically....I need to step my game up.

^haha not yet, but I'm going to...the front is full stiff and the rear is full soft, so it rides pretty funky right now.
We'll definitely have to set up another mod/photo/video day this summer.

Stop paying so much attention, Anil! Yes, the front need to be dropped about 1/4". Since I plan to cut the shock towers eventually, I don't give a crap about the ensuing clunkage that will follow. Thanks for the compliments!
