John...if you were local I'd help you tackle those effin screws...won't be fun in a salt/snow car!
You're going to LOVE these though...

It's actually just "upkeep" items...replacement bulbs for more dash lights that are out, some clips for my rear license plate that are rusty, etc. I just like that the box says Honda on it, so I snapped a pic hehe. btw, thanks for the 1000th post!

You talking about the rotor screws? Luckily they were a piece of cake with the impact screwdriver I have. Just a couple whacks with the hammer loosened them right up....got one corner done. The other side will be tackled tomorrow. But wait...what else did I finally do...teaser pic...

Either spacer or it looks like the reflection is showing a teal brake caliper

wow...i didn't even notice that...i thought it was the reflection of my ENVY in your lip.

That's the exact color I've considered many, many times. I'd even do an orange BREMBO to represent our poor Dolphins team!

Thanks, J. The teal blue is what I've wanted for a long time too, but I kept thinking about going the safe route and doing some shade of white, but I forced myself to go outside the box with this shade of blue and I don't regret it. I love this color....it exceeded my expectations.

...and of course, better quality pics coming soon!

Did you take them off to paint them or just tape everything up? And also, what size are your Brembo stickers (if you know) and where did you get them? I'm planning on repaint mine within the next week but need to find some stickers that'll fit.

I took the rotors off, and then remounted the calipers on the car. I covered the hub and everything with plastic and then covered my car with towels. I did one coat of primer and then 4-5 coats each of the base coat and clear coat. My Brembo decals are 3.5" long.

I wanna touch your calipers...
If I repaint mine, I'll probably remove the calipers/rotors too, although I had good luck using a grocery bag over the disc and some newspaper and painter's tape.

Calipers came out awesome John! That color always looks good against white paint. It reminds me of the Project U calipers D-Money from Nasioc had on his car (his car used to be white) http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...ghlight=dmoney

^You busted me! Project Mu and Spoon were my two main motivations for wanting to go with this color. That Suby's setup was sick...love how the base of the rotors matches the calipers...makes me want to take my rotors off and try to do something similar.

Processing some "real" photos for Jeremy....brb...

Lol, my bad. Yeah D Money overhauled that car like 3 times. It started off black, then he re-did everything and painted it white, then re-did it all again and painted it purple. Must be nice to be sponsored...

In for "real" pics

Edited the crap out of this one...probably went a little overboard, but it looks kind of neat:

I also swapped out my 3k HID fog bulbs for some 6k bulbs so it's more of a match to my switchbacks and sidemarkers. Overall, I like the change. I'm sure I'll go back to the 3k bulbs when I get sick of these...

Pics look hawt! Any thoughts on picking up the RDX rear brake covers and painting them to match the fronts? And I really like the last pic! Maybe an avatar update for once, lol?

Shit dude looks really nice man lol I was thinking of something like that and the same think with the rotor hub to but I like the fact that it says acura so I would have kept the "Acura" on my calipers and probably have in black since my car is nbp

Thought about it, haven't pulled the trigger though....the rear brakes are nothing special, so I haven't been that worried about it. Thanks for the comments...still undecided on an avatar change also hehe.

Thanks Joe. Yeah, I liked the "ACURA" decal on the stock caliper, but I like the Brembo decal even more. Reminds me of the monster Brembo calipers on my STi.

I agree, I like the Brembo sticker a lot more especially with the caliper painted this color. Looking at the the one close up pic it really does make the caliper look huge!

John, in a training class but all I can say is WOW!!!
I'll wait though, if I ever decide to do this color. You deserve to be the only one with this color for a bit. GORGEOUS!

And I'm kinda "over" the yellow too...love the matched fogs.
