Almost a month with no updates...ridiculous. FINALLY made time to get the rear Brakemotive rotors/pads on as well as the rear "Brembo" covers to match the fronts. Chalk up another one for the "mods I thought I'd never do". Anyway, they look pretty decent and I like how they pop against WDP and the shiny new rotors. Pics:

Moar:
So getting these plastic covers attached to the calipers is a pain in the ass. The actual area where the cover makes contact with the caliper is literally about 1/4" wide by 1/2" long....AND you can only secure it on the left edge of the cover, so even if you were to get the JB Weld to hold, if you applied enough pressure to the other edge, it would likely just pop off completely. So I bought some "hanger tape" from Lowe's and made a custom bracket that attaches to the inner "piston" area of the cover and then attaches to the OEM caliper. The hanger tape is meant to hang ventilation ducts in houses, but it's cheap, strong and flexible, so it's pretty versatile. So far, the covers seem very secure (famous last words hehe).

^I was wondering how long it would take for someone to comment on that. Should've known it would be you. It did cross my mind, but rather than giving the covers nipple relocation surgery, I said screw it and left it as is.

Well, John's last nipple relocation surgery went horribly wrong and ended his stripping career. So I don't blame him one bit for keeping it as is.
Great job, man...looks awesome! We were just discussing making a bracket to hold these covers on! If I do any other color than silver, I'll likely join the rear brake cover crew.

They ride great so far. I've had these coilovers about 9 months now. The main issue I have at this ride height is the UCA clunk, but I live with it.

Yes, the offset of my wheels is +35. Front spacers are 15mm and the rears are 20mm. Go with the Akatas (eBay).

Looks good John Do you have any pics of the bracket you made out of the hanger tape? I need to put mine back on, 1 of them flew off the other day I might take a foot of that tape also.

Upside down nipples? Is that like in-y vs out-y?

Thanks man. Sorry, didn't take any pics of the bracket, but I basically made a Z shape with the tape, stuck it to the back side of the cover where "piston" is with a glob of JB weld. I put some scotch tape across it just to keep it semi-secure while it was drying. Then once I situated the cover on the OEM caliper, I used another glob of JB weld under the other end of the hanger tape against the caliper. I made a Z shape with the tape bc I knew that I would be bending the tape a little to get it to sit against the OEM calper and if it weren't Z-shaped, it would probably pull off the back side of the cover as soon as you moved it any. Hope that made sense. I just quickly typed this on my way out of the office and I didn't proof read...sorry, I'll try to get some pics...
Hopefully this will work and wont have to rely on adhesive to hold them on. But thanks again for the idea.

Winter test mode:
Updates! Decided to sell my OEM Type-S wheels that I used for winter and get something a little different. NL Motoring was running a nice coupon code for all their XXR wheels, and since these would just be used for winter, I figured why not. Pulled the trigger on a set of XXR 530's, staggered, 18x8.75+20 (F), 18x9.75+20 (R).
