Yeah itunes load times suck. Slingbox app loads pretty quick though, which is key.

Thanks guys. I'm running the Navtool to tap into the nav screen's video feed. The installation isn't too bad if you have a decent understanding of electronics and how to run all the cables. My last post was lazy...here's a recap with pics:
Navtool:
Apple TV:
HDMI-to-composite switch:
The vid (in case anyone missed it from the previous page):
If I ever decide to run any more audio inputs, I'll get the PIE X3, but I only need one audio input for the Apple TV, so I'm just using the stock AUX input. I'm going to get a compact inverter to run power to the Apple TV (I was using an extension cord in the vid ), hopefully I can find something that won't get too hot since the Apple TV consumes very little power. I researched hardwiring the Apple TV to the TL's battery, but that involves cracking open the Apple TV and soldering wires to its built-in power supply. Since I want to be able to bring the Apple TV in the house when I need it, hardwiring it to my car isn't an option.

What brand tires? And how do you like them? Also, if I got 8.75 all around, can I run 225-35/40? Thanks! Car looks BEAUTIFUL.

Hard to imagine a person that don't like to have somekind of shine on their wheels. I understand the aspec to the mess for having a white car.
I would say there are some foam applications that shouldnt leave the marks. I've heard that heavier oil isn't suppose to spray and stick to the tired better. I guess you just have to try different ones if you haven't already(That can be costly, but to spray down 4tires and take it back if it didn't work is usually a sure bet to get your money back). I think the key is making sure its given enough time to dry down.

When did you order yours? They just got a batch in, so if you ordered a while ago, you should be getting them soon. Mine are the 6k Triton switchbacks. They are not as blue as my ebay switchbacks were. If you look on the VLED's FB page, other people have commented that the 6k tritons are whiter than expected. I'm happy with them though because they will match my sidemarkers and headlights better now. My fogs are 6k HID's, but I may go with 5k fogs so everything matches little better.

I ordered mine on Dec. 17 but I ordered the 5k and I haven't heard much about people receiving the 5k yet. i stalk their FB page hoping for a new production batch, but yea seems like 6k are more white than expected, yours came out great though. i'm just trying to get closer to my headlights, but my DRLs are 6k so I may have to purchase some 5k soon (they are making a triton version for HB3/9005 but no ETA).

I'll feel the housings after my commute tonight and see if it feels warm, but I can't imagine they'll get that hot considering they're LED's. Also, since it's the dead of winter here, there will be no melting of anything for at least another 2 months.

Thanks man. Oddly, the VLEDs site appears to be down, but I was on their site yesterday and noticed that the 6k Triton switchbacks were in stock, so it surprises me that the 5k's still aren't available. I ordered mine last week! I also noticed they jacked the price up about $30 on these, so I'm glad I got in while they were running the special pre-order price. Regardless, they're well worth the wait. These bulbs are no joke. Let me know when you get yours...there are some hoops you have to jump through to get them installed that VLEDs doesn't mention.

Yeah guys the 6K V3s are a nice color, they actually match pretty well with my 4300k HIDs.
Hey sockr1, have you noticed any weird functionality with the switchbacks? My passenger side doesn't always engage to the flashing amber. Wonder if I might have a bad connection somewhere.
