Which remote start do you have? I'd like to get one that can be operated with an iPhone app, so you don't have to be within a certain range to activate it. For example, when I get back into town from traveling for work, it'd be nice to be able to start my car from the plane as soon as I land...kinda like those GM/On Star commercials.
Acura got it installed when we were buying the car in 2006.
I don't carry it, I just use it in the morning at home.
Dad doesn't like carrying those too, that's why he installed viper for iphone to his 09 RL.
He liked it but sometimes there was no connection. We call the viper, they said it's a satellite issue, they are fixing it blah blah, but that was when app was new..
Right now he has normal one, because they could install it to his Infiniti key
Press 3 times to lock button, it starts
If you travel a lot with a plane...get the iphone one
+
Don't think you want to cary that remote too

I install remote starts daily. I have the viper smart start on my TL-S now and don't use it. So if anyone wants it i will sell it to them and install it cheap. You will need a compatible viper remote start for it to work though.
I could get the whole working package installed in your TL for 300-350 for a basic remote start that will work with this smart start. F it I just want to see your car in person as it is my dream to get mine to look anything close to yours. I will do it in your TL for 250 full price, INSTALLED!
If you are going to be in the philly/del area any time soon ebelp I can hook you up.

Wow, thanks man I appreciate it! Sorry if the following questions are dumb...I'm a n00b when it comes to alarms...
The Viper unit you have is an alarm AND a remote starter, right? Can you start the car with either the Viper key fob or the Viper app on your smartphone, or is the model you have just come with the fob?

Glenn and I actually worked together. I am the one that trained him how to do remote starts basically.
The module I have is JUST the smart start part, Meaning you need a remote start OR a remote start/alarm brain to go along with it. The package I quoted you for was one that would use JUST the phone as your started and an extra ONE button remote that could be used to start the car if you want. If you want one with a remote start AND alarm I can hook you up with that too but it would be more expensive. Retail a system like that would be about 800 installed. I could do that one for about 500ish possibly way less. But I would have to look when I get back to work to see what I could get everything for.
If you have issues with a viper system in a TL then it was installed wrong. I have never had any issues with any of the TL's or accords I have done including mine and Glenn also hasn't had any issues with his.
With the system I have my factory key fob will arm and disarm the alarm along with the added remote I have that will start, lock and unlock the alarm along with my phone that (until I let the subscription expire) would lock unlock and start the car.
I also have my alarm set up to roll my windows up when I lock the car and I can roll them up or down with the aux 1 and 2 settings.

New pic time....with the help of Chip's cheerful advice, I got the ijdmtoy.com DRL kit. Up until now, I've been anti-DRL, so I had the fuse pulled so they wouldn't fire up at all. Since my fogs and switchbacks are all 6k, these DRL's match nicely. I'm happy with the results:
Sorry, that's all for now...I'll get more pics later with the fogs and switchbacks powered up too.

John, I know this might be dumb, but contact Wacker about possibly getting your grill color matched WDP...I can't help but think that it looking so good on NBP would translate VERY well to white.
Those pictures remind me of a time when I was young...I would sometimes eat the original Oreo big stuff (not the double stuff, you 19 year old's that don't know what good snacks are all about) and I'd get a full on stiffy. I mean, I was young so you couldn't really tell unless I was wearing sweats...but you get the point. I was impressed.

I'm not sure what's more impressive: how good your car looks or how good your photos are.

That 80-200 is amazing. If i were to guess I would say those were taken with the big dog 70-200. The clarity is top notch.

Thanks, I'd like to upgrade to the 70-200/2.8 someday. The best/worst thing about glass is it holds its value extremely well. No matter how long I wait, I'll still have to cough up $1,200+ for that lens no matter what.
