Gorgeous shots as always John! Were you using a wide angle for some of those? 10-22?
And as for Morgan's avatar, John you've gotta make her work for it

The best is when you step outside and take a deep breath, and you can feel your nose hairs freeze up. That literally happens.
Woah, that doesn't look good. Guess it's too cold to ride the bike to work?
Maybe we should start a salty TL thread. Yeah, I hate starting my car in the morning when it's this cold. It makes all sorts of scary sounds when it first starts up. Anyone know how to install the OEM block warmer?

the nav screen corrects itself after a few minutes of driving tho...so that's reassuring. but still...you know its cold when something like that happens lol...
and yeah remote start is the bomb...i just keep my defrosters on full blast high heat and seat warmers on and run my car for a few mins before i leave. makes getting in the car so much more pleasant.

btw John, I hope you didnt use Aerospace 303 on the cluster, that thing makes it fog up like crazy !!! I used some accidentally and the fog seems to be "embedded" in the lens and wont go away....i might just remove my gauge and see if its on the inside

I use Aerospace on the dash and doors, but never on the cluster lens. That would just be a streaky mess. Only damp dusting cloths ever touch the lens.

but yeah, I once, accidentally, used the 303 microfiber on the lens and that messed it up....the 1 thing which I love on gauges is Meg's quick interior detailer....love how it leaves the lens crystal clear without streaks....

more like work lingo....
cant tell the developer to stop "whining"....some take it offensively....but stop "cribbing" is more subtle and means the same LOL....
and the detailing tip was from my past experience. I have yet to see someone use meg's interior detailer on gauges/navi/clock/radio screen

Never heard the word either...I have rubbed all sorts of sh*t on my lenses though and always seems ok. I remember I once thought I was using quick detail and 1/2 thru I was like, why isn't this sh*t drying...it was fkn dash protectant.
Anil, you getting my texts? You did see that I was kidding, right? Or are we mortal enemies again?

Aaron, wouldn't that hurt the pixels on the screen? In long run
Like how bad battery kills the pixels or puts up lines on the screens
Never saw it on Asian cars but just asking..
Common German problem for sure.. once I saw Seat Leon throw random straight lines on the screen but that was because of having a bad battery for long. (screen doesn't start up rightm because of poor power)
We know about Audi and BMW screens
Full of dead pixels haha
John you do need remote start It's awesome, but what I hate is you still need gloves
No heat steering
I didn't have gloves this morning, I had to hold the steering with my beanie

Which remote start do you have? I'd like to get one that can be operated with an iPhone app, so you don't have to be within a certain range to activate it. For example, when I get back into town from traveling for work, it'd be nice to be able to start my car from the plane as soon as I land...kinda like those GM/On Star commercials.

Yeah, same here...not worth the 3 hour process to change out a couple bulbs. My front defrost and rear defrost buttons will go out, but if I smack the side of the dash, they'll come back on...awesome!
