Nice man. I didn't do the best job painting my calipers black the first time, so I wanna go back and do them again. Also, since my birthday was Tuesday, my brother ordered me a P2R throttle body spacer. It definitely feels like it made a difference for me, throttle response and low end acceleration seems a bit more peppy with it on! Love the TL man

Damn really? Well I'm glad you like it! It's nothing compared to that E92 of yours though

I didn't do an A+ job on my calipers either, I probably should have taken them off, but just about anything is better than what they used to look like.

Happy belated birthday! Sounds like you have a good brother. I may have to consider the TBS now. I think I've got my eye on the ATLP J-pipe or getting my A-Specs powdercoated. Too many plans with not enough money

Thank you sir! You know I'm a huge fan of your TL-S and your S2k. Congrats once again on joining the 18x8.5 Gunmetal A-Spec club

calipers look good tyler... i wish it wasnt looking like rain today, would love to do a white + black photo shoot haha, though the altima looks quite awesome when there is overcast. hanging around with you lately and seeing that exhaust swap with you and alex bit me with the modding bug as of late.. I would vote for powder coating the wheels before the j pipe. get that exterior looking right (not to say that it doesnt already look awesome), then finish off the exhaust.

The rust on the rotor is annoying but there's nothing I can do about it. Oh well

I cant stand the rust either. What i do is put tape on the disk then i paint all that stuff (calipers and disk). When done i remove the disk tape and everything is rust free. I paint mine silver tho, i think it makes it pop more and makes it look cleaner down there.

Wow that looks great! Nicely done sir

I considered taping up the rotor and getting ALL of the rust off, but it was cold outside and I had just about had it with the project all together.

I really like how you did yours silver. I was considering that, for the OEM look, but since so many elements of my car are black, I didn't want them to stand out behind the wheel like they were something special. They look cleaner than the stock ones without standing out

John I was thinking the same exact thing when I was sitting on my cold garage floor painting the calipers with a small ass brush

I painted the calipers and such on Wednesday, the day before Thanksgiving, and posted the pictures on Thanksgiving. I like my car but not enough to miss a dank ass meal

What's good on my wheels? Did you get those sample colors in yet?

Yea dude I have lots of plans and not enough money. For Christmas, my dad has agreed to possibly pay for getting my entire front end repainted due to my paint oxidizing It pisses me off because it was out of my control, and I can't fix it myself. I too have my eye on a j-pipe, but on the RV-6 V3 unless ATLP comes out with a V3 of their j-pipe...

^For Christmas I'm asking for a valve adjustment and 3x3 tranny flush. Go big or go home. I can tell there's far too much clatter coming from the engine and I have no idea when the transmission was flushed. The 5ATs and the Z1 fluid in them make me nervous as hell to begin with.

Tyler, did you use Duplicolor paint for the brakes? Looks so much better man. Hate how easily our calipers get nasty, I've been meaning to do mine for a long long time.

Damn that sucks man. Maybe you can get a 07 base front end out of it

I really want the ATLP V2 J-Pipe and the ATLP Test Pipe but I really need to get my A-Specs powdercoated first. I'm not going to go the original color though, I'm going to get them the Type-S gunmetal so they match the centercaps. Hopefully that will happen before my birthday in March.

Thanks Craig! Let me know how that valve adjustment and such goes. I think I'm going to seafoam my car sometime soon since it's never been done. I've had the 3rd and 4th gear pressure switches for two weeks now and have yet to put them in. I think I'm going to switch to the Redline Racing ATF as well. I need to make sure this tranny lasts!

Yezzir, I used the Duplicolor paint kit. It came with the paint in a can, brushes, brake cleaner, and some tape. Well worth the money.

What lights? The switchbacks or the HIDs? I'll post links to where I got my lights but keep in mind your CL probably has different bulb sizes.

The switchbacks can be found here:

The HIDs can be found here:

It was awesome! I had never been on a ferry before and it was quite an experience. It was $5 one-way and it was about a 30 minute ride. When you board the ferry, you are sent in one of 4 lines on the ship. I went to the left, underneath the lounge area of the boat. Here's a picture driving under it:

Since I was the first one in that lane, I pulled all the way forward and then had blocks put under my front tires to keep my car from rolling forward through the gate into the water. You can barely see my car in the far left of this picture:

Btw you have to stay in your car until a bell rings, then you are free to wander around and do whatever.

Here's a picture of leaving the port and of the other ferry that was running:

Well there's no rain or wintry mix in the forecast for the next week so I decided to clean the car up and take some pictures. Let me know what you think!

Finally installed the brake and gas pedals. I've had only the dead pedal installed since I got the car two years ago...

Looking great, car has definetely come a LONG way!

I have a question about your dome LEDs though. I've got a 7G Accord, so I'm hoping they're somewhat ish similar.

You know how when you enter/exit the car, the lights dim off and dim on? I heard the LEDs can only dim to about half brightness, then shut off completely. Is this true?

Your car is teh shiz. You've done some creative stuff I haven't seen before, like the tinted base tails.

Thank you sir! I love the tails. They look MUCH better than the previous set that were completely smoked.

It may depend on the manufacturer but the LED boards I have completely dim like a traditional bulb would. I'll try to get a video for you within the next few days.

Effing $7 for shipping? Seriously? Maybe I'll call the local stealership and see what they can do.
