I love your WDP! It's so clean and classy!
Looks even better with more drop! That's what it supposed to be.

From the last page:

I got the new tires on today! It's so nice to turn the steering wheel and not have the tires hit the fenders and throw rubber everywhere

I think I need another alignment though since I've got some noticeable vibrations at highway speeds, but I just had an alignment a week or two ago. Does having new tires mounted throw off the alignment specs? Do new tires need to be "broken in"?

I've only driven about 25 miles since having them mounted this morning but I like these tires so far! The stretch is a little more aggressive than I thought it would be, but well worth it. I'll post pics tomorrow after I get the car clean for the Charlotte meet on Saturday

Not even one pic?

Sounds great dude, glad you are happy with them.
Different size might be the reason for need of allignment... I think

Mine dances on highway
Outer edges on the rear tires stay soo clean haha

Fine, one picture. This is when I was still at the shop and I turned the wheel all the way to the right to see if I still rubbed on the passenger side fender

Damn that is sexy!

This exactly what i've strived for with my car......Badass OEM look. Someone who doesn't know much about these cars would either 1) think it is some special sports version of an Acura car or 2) they would look at it and go "i dont know exactly what it is but they've done something to that car to look so badass". Either way people look and are impressed.

Very nice work!!

Wow, thank you MAS! That comment is truly appreciated. I guess I don't realize what I have until someone says something like that

Your NBP looks great and I'm super jealous of that supercharger!

I washed the G35 yesterday and just got done with Ms. CLtotheTL32's Elantra, so I'm taking a break until starting the TL. It's hot as fawk here today.

Is your rear tucked a bit more than the front? Maybe camera trickery. I always prefer a slight rake so i quickly notice these things.

Ever consider doing one of the fog light mods??

PS----liking the no tint look too. WDP can really look sweet with super dark tints too but i'm currently like you with no tint (except back glass) and i love the look you get from the contrasts from the interior colors vs. the exterior colors. I noticed i would like no tints one day when i noticed i liked my window down pics way better than window up pics. Once again maximizing the badass OEM look.

Last time I measured, the front was around 1/8" lower than the rear, yet the rear looks lower. I'll measure today after I give it a wash.

I bought Accord fogs just a month or two after buying the car but ended up selling them. I never planned on doing any fogs but after seeing the Inspire fogs on multiple TL, especially J's and Austin's, I really want them. It'll probably be a winter project

Believe it or not, the windows are tinted. 35% on the sides and rear, but reads out 32.0% when a meter is put on. I wanted darker but 32% is the darkest a car can have in NC

Hmm interesting... I got 35% tint on my TL as well. I measured afterward and it showed 29%. Regal limit is 35% in my area.
I like inspire fogs more than accord ones. I would get those if mine didn't come with fogs from factory.

Weird. It must be the brand of tint that I have that allows it to read just a little lower once applied to glass.

And I agree; Inspire fogs > Accord fogs. Hopefully later this year

Tomorrow is the Charlotte meet so I cleaned up the car and took a few pictures to show off da new rubba.

Yeah, 215/40/18 on mah 18x8.5 A-Specs. Not an insane stretch but much more than I'm used to with my previous 235s and 245s. I need to get another alignment to dial in the camber and such but I'm enjoying not rubbing at all. Like Adam said, the narrower profile makes me want to go lower

This shit happened about 2 weeks ago

So dumb. I also put on my new Bosch wipers today

And to finish, here's a side profile shot. The rear tires are a bit past the apex of the driveway, so the front is a bit higher than it sits on level ground. You get the idea

Pulling in and out of the driveway is quite the task with this kind of drop. See it? Double entendre. Yeah I'm a fuggin G

Tyler...one billion percent sure that you need the tires rebalance...not an alignment. That stretch is not bad at all and the overall look makes me want to jazz skittles.

Find out how old the balance machine is...an unskilled or complacent installer or a machine that is out of calibration are to blame.

Tyler, I'm really, really happy you pulled the trigger on coils. The car looks absolutely amazing.

P.S. My car's cup holder door was broken from the time I got it. The door fell back in the center console and I never saw it till I tore things apart. Not a big deal.

Looks to be decent, and a nice flash.

Similar to what I bought, has the screen and vari-angle head.

I bought an SB-800 and have no complaints...didn't get that good of a deal though. It works with the cheapo Cowboy Studio wireless flash triggers too ($30 for one trigger and two receivers).

They need to be rebalanced. The shop I go to uses a Hunter Road Force balancer (I forget the exact model), but its one of the best in the industry. I've been taking my wheels and tires to them for the past 6 years and I never have a vibration from the tires, even at triple digit speeds.

Car looked great yesterday btw. I've got some pics but dont have time to edit them right now. Hopefully I can do it tonight.

I'm pissed about the cupholder. Supposedly it's $60 to replace the whole unit

Thanks Austin! I can't believe it took me this long to get them

Unless I had a drink, the cup holder was never left open because I would put my phone face up there. It's annoying.

Thanks Zach! I've had this car for almost 5 years and it's still not nearly as modded as most of the cars on this site. Take your time, plan everything out, and your car will look way better than mine

Well guys, I think this thread has run it's course. With 226k views and 6700+ replies spread over 168 pages, it's hard to find any real "progress" in here anymore

I'll be making a new thread within the next day or two so keep your eyes out for it! This thread will remain my "build" thread and the new one will start where this one is leaving off.

Thank you to anyone and everyone who ever looked in here and/or commented, whether it was positive or negative remarks

I'll have Steven Bell lock this thread and I would like everyone in the future to see this post be the last one for the thread so please don't comment after this! Thanks
