You'd probably need a really big wing and a lot of speed to get 300lbs more of downforce.

 

new battery box project. Old box was far too big and I wasn't a huge fan of the placement of it so I'm changing it up.

lower profile, smaller box, lower to the ground, and shorter wire length as well. Seems like a good change up to me.

 

That reminds me, I seriously need that part.... I think you said somewhere you're not selling any of these parts but I can't find the post. If you want to get rid of the license plate area, I'll be glad to paypal you some money.

Cool beans, I had made a DIY version of that back in the day and it worked pretty darn well. Hope the surgery goes well though...

Yeah I did, just wasn't worth all the work/hassle at the moment. I've been to Autobahn a few times and wouldn't mind hitting up again this year if I get the chance, I'll let you know.

 

Hey Villo, I'm doing Texas World Speedway in early March and MSR Houston in mid April...You should join us for Houston! Registration opens in a couple weeks to sign up for Houston...I know it's a bit of a drive, but this driving school is the best around. We were the first to run the Circuit of the Americas F1 track in Austin and the owners were very impressed on how professional and skilled we were...It's $315 for the weekend...8 sessions total.

 

Or we could meet "halfway" at Hallett!

I've been brainstorming lately on remaking my old diffuser, wanna try to keep it lightweight, easy to build and remove

 

Picked up a set of APR mirrors that finally came in today. Super light and strong! Should be able to install them this weekend.

 

The rear is gonna look sick. I am interested to see how/where you mount the apr mirrors.

Sorry dude! but I had snagged these used a couple weeks ago from an eastcoaster but had some delays in shipping so I just got them friday.


I did just buy a small panel/sheet of carbon fiber to use for mounting the mirrors to the car and all in will have the mirror setup for about 50% of retail Just waiting on that now before mounting will be complete.
