Unfortunately we didnt get to plug on ms3 to finish tuning session as harness was left behind but will complete tuning session ..

And just to confirm we ran the car on another dyno just to see difference in dynos but they were only 1 whp difference ,the torque was off as it was calibrated on next dyno it was off by 12 lb ,tq ..and then again the car was completely cooled down on next dyno ...

Any guesses on whp after tuning session??????????????????????????

I'm very glad that you're doing this for the community.
I will support you 100%
there is a thread talking about a "flash tune" but its being done in secret.
some people are getting scared. I fully support you and what you stand behind.
I tip my hat to you, sir.

Ditto!

I'll give you a call in a day or two. Had to build another section to a ramp and didn't get a chance to swap my pump. Going to do that today.

can somebody please show me where exactliy and in what position should i weld in the wideband sensor on the jpipe?

just draw a circle or arrow or something.

do i do it after the merge, but still on the jpipe? or on the catback? and vertically, horizontally on the pipe?

thanks.

Not the Jpipe. It needs to have a bit of length after the merge to mix before hitting the sensor. I would do it approx 8-12" past the flange.

Due to clearance issues, the sensor will most likely be at the 3:00 or 9:00 position.

BTW - Remove that ugly, useless heat shield. It ain't needed with the cat gone.

Bring it up underneith the splash shield, and enter the car using a grommet in the center of the firewall. Its the size of a quarter and is blocked off with a plastic plug from the factory. Look slightly downward behind the throttle body location at the firewall and you'll see it. Sorry no pics.

Drilled a hole. The wiring of the sensor (going to the LC-1 controller) was cut in half to route the wiring thru the hole. Then, the wiring was soldiered together again.

i know which area you're talking about. i've already used that location to wire my halo angel eyes and LED strip in the headlights.

hmm...hope i have enough room left to feed more wires through. otherwise, looks like i'm making that hole a little bit larger.

Aaron just a word of caution....if you look at Tim's image, he has the sensor at the 3rd cat delete....since he has the ATLP (V2?) it does encorporate the 3rd cat delete by a race pipe....but your RV6 deletes the 3rd car itself....i think if you put it on the catback, that becomes tooooo far....since your primaries on the jpipe are same length, i just recommend either just:

1> monitor 1 bank and get accurate reading
2> monitor both the banks by putting the bung right after the merge
3> monitor both the banks by using a dual AFR sensor/controller (I am going this route)

^hmm...i see what you're saying. i hope the shop doing the welding will know where to place it in the end.

i was kind'of thinking of putting it right after the flange from the jpipe to the exhaust. that way, it'll be close enough to the jpipe merge without compromising the fact that i may or may not get both banks you know?

That's what I did but my hole has so many things running through it that it was large enough to push the gauge side connector though it. Much easier than digging at the firewall, mine comes out right under the stock ECU in the drivers side footwell.

I'm considering replacing my AEM with an LC-1 where I can free air calibrate it so I may need to do some cut and splice as well.

It's on the hump and the connectors/wires come out on the passenger side so it's either slightly to the left or dead center. Even so, we're talking very little difference. Like I said, the reason I am out that side was because of the harness. I did this with the FIC but there was still the piggyback harness to deal with on the passenger side.

thanks. you just going to drill a little spot for it?

my wideband just got delivered yesterday, and the s2k pillar pod should be here monday. after i get everything put together, which might be a few weeks...i'll get it installed. everything should be up and fully functional by mid may.

i plan on drilling the hole for the sensor right after the jpipe>catback flange. welded on the catback.

Why not put it on the pillar pod you're installing. Then you aren't drilling into the fascia.

I put mine in the steering colum next to my gauges. When it lights up or flashes, it shines on the gauges, but is invisible any other time. I will post pics in a few hrs. I would stay away from drilling the gauge trim.

so the consensus is to just make a little spot for it on the drivers side pillar (near my AFR gauge)?

is the indicator light really small? what would you compare it to?

Here you go. The led on the right ( next to the boost gauge) is the knock indicator light. The green led is for the meth injection, it flashes when the system is spraying and durring a self test each time the car is started. The knock indicator works very well for me in this location even durring the day. The light shines up at the gauge face and is noticable enough for the driver to see without advertising it to the rest of the world. This is the same reason I have my gauges mounted on the steering colum instead of the A piller, since it draws less attention.

The only time the light flashes is on start up ( 1-2 blinks ) and under somewhat heavy boost, where I can't take pics. I will try to get one of start up, but even then, it's a quick flash and the car is so dark the camera would either flash or not get much.
