I got a 08tl-s with 6k hids for the lows and fogs, which switchbacks can I use that'll just go right in without modding the housing and what resistors should I use. I was reading thru all of this and started to get a headache from it sorry!! Too much info to process lol.

I know its been gone over time after time but are these bulbs the correct ones for the license plate area that won't flicker and burn out?

Thanks! Did you go with the 5k or 6k bulbs? I am leaning towards the 5k as they seem to be pure white vs the 6k which seem to have a blue tint.

Paintballny: I have the 5K and they are nice and white.

silvernight: I have quite a few LED lights throughout my car (Check my Garage for pics):
I used SuperbrightLEDs.com for the #74 Glovebox and console lights---they are 3-LED units.
Glovebox and Center console: 74-xHP3 Wedge Base LED bulb $ 3.49 (each)

I used ExtremeBrightLEDs.com (on eBay) for the LED Interior 8-pack $54.99:
Door (front) – Two 12-LED bulbs
Dome Light – Two 12-LED bulbs
Map Light – Two 12-LED bulbs
Center Console – One 1-LED bulb
Glove Box – One 1-LED bulb
I have noticed some flickering in my rear dome lights with these. I can't make a recommendation on these just yet.

The last 2 from this order I did not use---they were single LEDs and were not bright enough.

UPDATE: I replaced the front dome lights with 30LED panels from V-LEDS. Waaaayy brighter! http://www.v-leds.com/Interior-LED/D...-p5168719.html

UPDATE #2: Added footwell lighting. See https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...0#post11454520

I highly recommend v-leds.com for all of your LED purchases. They have really fast shipping, their products function as advertised and seem to be reliable and the prices are good. Use coupon code ACURAZINE when you order for 15% off.

It's unfortunate that this thread reads like "War & Peace", but it is the nature of what we are trying to do---new products are being introduced all the time. As people buy them and start using them, the "best" lights to use for a given application change over time. Hell, I bought my 30LED panels less than 6 months ago and there are now 48LED panels available. That shit must be CRAZY bright!

Also - Will something like this fit in the trunk plastic housing?

http://www.v-leds.com/Interior-LED/D...81159-1-2.html the size dimension not the color lol.

Here is what I have in my trunk:
http://www.v-leds.com/Interior-LED/D...68086-2-1.html

I think those 25LED panels would fit the trunk light, but can't be sure without measurements.

I was hoping someone can help me, I am looking to replace my trunk halogen light with a bright white LED from either V-Led or supernova because I want something with the heat shield to help make them last longer

I basically have two questions, what do people recommend and can anyone tell me how do you take off and get to the trunk light, right now I'm stumped and I don't want to break off the clear plastic piece with a screw driver without finding out how to do it??

Would any LED expert be able to direct me in the right direction to find out what bulbs i need for a 2010 honda pilot? i have a TL with LEDs from this thread, so i just ordered the ones everyone else did, but can't find a forum or google search result for the last 15 mins now with this information.

is it possible to just remove the light and then use some kind of conversion chart to see what can fit in there?

That particular housing is identical to the Vanity lights--there should be complete instructions further up in this thread. I know I posted Service Manual scans for how to open it.

Sorry---didnt see this question earlier.
Turn signal bulbs are 7440/7443 type. You will need resistors to prevent "hyperflashing". You should choose the bulb color based on the diffuser color you plan to use. For example: use red LED bulbs in the rear turn signals, unless you have cleared the lenses.
For the front, you can go with amber LEDs or switchback LEDs. Switchbacks burn white and flash amber while turning. There are 2 types---Type 1 flashes white-amber-white and Type 2 flashes amber only.
Note that you can use the switchbacks behind the OEM amber lenses and get a nice pale yellow glow---matches well with Nokya Yellow fogs.

I've been using these for about 2 years without any problems:

Polarg wedge type 168/194

Prior to these, I bought some surface-mount LED bulbs from superbrightleds.com which burned-out in a few weeks.

alright i need someones help or input...one of my license plate Supernova's flickered and died. heres the thing the set i had before my new set from Autolumination came lastnight was white with more of a blue hue to it white made it look and matched pretty well with my front 6k HIDs,. now the new set from Autolumination came in as white and its WHITE and now it makes my car looks cheap...lol to me anyways. funny part is that i dont remember where i ordered my first Supernova's either from Superluminations or Autoluminations. Anyone else ordered for white license plate lights and came with the blue hue?

should return these and ask for another set or return them and order them from Superlumination?

Well considering that 6000k was your first mistake because it is too much work to replace the headlights and get little to no difference. Your white license plate now will be matching your headlights. The only reason you think you're getting a hint of blue its because of the projector lens curvature. Park next to me later and ill show you.lol

Hi Guys, Am newbie here and sorry if am posting that something that is already discussed. I was searching trough forum but still have not found solution.

The passenger side turn bulb went last month and I decided to replace with LED so I don't have to replace them again. I got this one from amazon http://www.amazon.com/Signal-Corner-...133106&sr=8-21

As well resistors so ECU wont think bulb is gone... installed both and It work fine until this morning when I notice that when entering car the lights dont blink anymore as it should. I tried look fuses but everything is ok, so apparently non of the signal lights work anymore. Any ideas what could be gone wrong?

Hey jumbo-The console bulb is easy to get to. Just get a flathead screw driver and pop it out from the top then twist the piece counter clockwise to expose the bulb. From ther you just need a little tape as mentioned earlier for a make shift pull tab.
