Actually, I do have some pictures of the high-powered blues in action. However, I don't have any pictures of the 13-LED blues in action, but if you are interested I can show you a comparison when the sun goes down tonight.

I'll leave my high powered LED in my interior dome light and on the passenger side i'll put the 13-LED blue in there and take a picture to show you the difference. I'll also replace my hi-powered LED on my door with the 13-LED blue and take a picture so you can look at the before and after to see the difference between the two

Pay close attention to how "blue" the ground looks in these 2 pictures below. I can tell you for sure that the 5LED and 13LED don't look anywhere near blue in comparison.

I recently replaced my passenger side door with a 5-LED 5k white one just for the hell of it. Here's a picture of how it looks. The 360Style bulbs cover just a little more ground when compared to the 2LED high-powered flank bulbs, but aren't as bright.

Thanks for the pictures! Since I'm not using the LEDs to show off or to have on regularly, I thought what I bought was perfect for what I need. I was just looking to add character to the car when I unlock/open the doors. I'd love to see some pictures of the 13-LEDs in action, but it's hard to justify things like this without seeing it in person. Hopefully I'll get the results that I'm looking for.

You're right. It's hard to justify without seeing it in person because cameras don't really pick up color as well as the human eye (unless you have a $2000 camera and good photo editing skillz)

Without a doubt you will be satisfied with the bulbs you have. Going from OEM halogen bulbs to any type of colored LEDs is a vast improvement.

If you are like me, as time goes by you want to try something newer and better. In my case I used the 5LED blues for about 3-6 months for my doors than I was itching for something brighter and more blue... That's when I turned to the 13-LED blues for about a week or 2 (saw them on sale). Now I'm using Hi-Powered 2LED blues (were also on sale) and I don't see my self going back..

I want to try these next http://www.v-leds.com/Interior-LED-B...00711-1-2.html

These are bright, nearly 10 times brighter than a standard LED for this application, so that's like having 40 LEDs on this little bulb!

& It doesn't help that LEDs literally advance on a regular basis. They are always improving and getting brighter, and it's really hard to keep up with. I'll let you all know when they arrive

Installed white LEDs from vled today.
Did all the interior light. Looks great. This thread was a huge help from start to finish.
I need to get some for the rear tag lights.
Anyone used these?

I just bought and received that, 10 5 SMD bulbs, plenty bright for the interior, installed 8 of them today and waiting on my CREE 's for the reverse to put the other 2 in the tag light. I've had damn near every brand of LEDs, retrofitted 3 cars since 2007 and the ebay ones are are really no better or no worse than the branded ones, they can all be hit or miss but I have some ebay bulbs that have been in my Impala since 2007 with zero issues. $10 shipped for that, seemed like a quick cheap solution. I'm thinking one of these days I'll tackle the turn signals but I'm not in a rush, I'm just so used to white LED interior bulbs I ordered them as soon as I drove the car home.

I'm sure they'll look crazy bright at night, the newer SMD ones are very bright, you only need a few compared to the old style bulbs.

I put in the cree reverse bulbs last week. The light now projects to the car behind me and I can see through my tinted glass.

Yup I knew I had to get CREE's again, here's in my old Trailblazer SS, 3157 size bult with a 7 watt CREE chip and 12 SMDs on the side, they were insanely bright, I loved that they went on when you hit unlock on the remote too. Since the TL uses a 921/T15 size bulb I don't think I'm gonna be able to get one as bright, I found some 5 watt ones cheap that'll do the trick, my tint is kinda dark.

Yeah I saw the 7W, but opted for the 5W since I found those for pretty dirt cheap.

Put in a thin flathead and twist a little, I did my interior in about 10 minutes.

Tons of great info on this thread.

One quick question...I ordered the wrong lights for the doors. Could someone post a direct link to the white LEDs I need to order. Thanks in advance.

5watt, 4watt, and 3watt respectively.
so now can i just buy 4+2+1+2+2=11 194 LEDs and plug it in everywhere?

I just replaced my vanity bulbs and found that a regular dinner knife did the trick better than a small screwdriver. Just slide a butter like knife (no sharp edges) between plastic bezel and metal frame and the lens should release.

Thanks for the tip. Eventually I want to change out my trunk LED for an even brighter one, and hopefully this will make it so much less of a pain than it was before.
