Back from my worktrip. Drove through a nice snowstorm in Jasper...pretty fun to be honest. Then again, pretty easy when I'm pretty much the only car on the road.

Nah, the goofy one, Jade. She could be a sista from anotha litta to my old dog. DeerMeat knows imma grab Jade and run if I have the opportunity. But I'd still let him blow my nuts off, no prob.

Quite the opposite. A few years back, Wifey and I were looking at purchasing our first rental property. We checked out a bunch of places with a "basement suite" in them already.
Oh. My. God.
I couldn't believe how some of these people were living. And I couldn't believe the slum lords milking every last nickle out of the property and then selling it for a premium, even though most of these places needed a minimum of 75k put into them. New shingles, new windows, new furnace, new hot water tank, foundation cracks, mold issues, trashed interiors (not necessarily the tenants fault... a lot of these places didn't have a dime put into them over the last 30-50 years), you name it. We looked at probably 35 different homes. Not a single one of them was even close to suitable.
We vowed to never be like those slum lords.
