Costco!!! Love that place. They don't have the biggest selection of tire brands, but they certainly do have the best prices. Customer service is always good too, because Costco.

Costco does have good prices, even more so south of the border. Now that the dollar is shit less people do it, but sometimes it's still worth taking a trip to the border nearest costco with your old winters and putting new ones on.

Don't forget to dirty them up a bit if you don't want the border to think you got them in the states and you don't want to declare them. Also stop by Wally's and buy random groceries so they DGAF about making you pay taxes on 4093023 crap items and just let your drive through.

If you know the basics, which I'd assume you do if you've already tried driving a manual, all you need is practice now. No better way to practice than on your own. Go out in the evening, when there's a bit less traffic and practice away.

I always found it nerve racking to have my brother sitting beside me and giving me incredibly bad tips on how to drive stick. Once he was gone, I was like "huh... this actually isn't all that hard".

Sure, my shifts were slow at first, but you catch on soon enough.
