Went out at "lunch" today and was killing time trying to figure out if I should go back to the office or go home or go get something to eat. Ended up at a liquor store just sort of wandering around for a half hour or so.
Didn't end up buying anything. Just went back to the office and sort of zoned out for a bit.
In hindsight, that was probably pretty strange...
But yeah, I haven't had a drink since Monday morning.
That might seem strange too; but one must start the week somehow.
Okay. Well. Yep.
Might want to look into that. It's not normal, we're Thursday already!
Joe Mofo...where that high pressure ps hose replacement thread at ?
My clamp thing didn't work...unless it's leaking from somewhere else (haven't taken a look yet but the garage floor is indicating it's still leaking).
TL is pushing my buttons, but I'm not gonna fold...

I have the exact same PS leak which I noticed when I replaced my PS pump cooler.
Leak would be pushing it, it's seeping very very slowly.
Previous owner pushed the hose further over the "ridge" on the metal tube portion, which I intended to replace at the same time as the PS cooler, and he put a collar on it like you did. I was never able to get the hose off and I didn't want to cut it because replacing it would be a PITA so I just let it happen, and I put a second collar like you did to help further. Every 3 months or so I add a 2 tablespoons of PS fluid.
That picture you sent me is probably the return line headed back to the reservoir. Although.. that be the lowest point.. so... leak could be from somewhere else.. .
I tried following it up the hose, or maybe see if it dripped from elsewhere, but no dice.
Yves, I did the exact same thing, I couldn't get it off the fitting...so I shoved it further on and ran the two clamps. I will look again and see where...it's enough that it's leaving a little puddle every day, so it's annoying.

Def more than mine then, I feel for you because I must have fucked with it for over an hour after replacing my PS cooler with my uncle, no amount of tugging helped remove it (loool) and we decided to simply let it be considering how very little it seeped.
So I have the return pipe brand new somewhere in my random parts bin in case I want to try my hand at replacing it again... or if it rusts enough that it leaks like the cooler did.
That fucking moron opens the top of the hose and spills PSF all over the drivebelt.. yet has rags covering the pump.. FFS.
If the TL has the flare nut facing out like in that vid, and not going directly in, should be easy. The orientation on that Accord is cake.. he had so much fucking room. I could barely fit my ratcheting wrench on the first bolt.. seriously less than 1/2 inch clearance between body and top of bolt.. If the TL has that much clearance, 2 hrs max.
And that shit about bending the hose.. impossibru. You might scuff the paint off it, but you need to be a fucking gorilla to bend it.. and then the shit about not bending it so you know how you took it out.. yeah good luck with that.

That return hose is a bitch, too tight of a squeeze, I'd need to lower the subframe to replace it if I ended up butchering it to get the return pipe out to replace it. CBA.
PB, I think your hose was at the point of leaking that mine was at 3 years ago when I first just tightened up the clamp and enjoyed no leaks anymore.
I might try and put the oem clamp back in position instead of that aftermarket one...if there's a raise lip, I'm thinking I might have clamped down on that instead of around it like the oem clamp does. I'll leave the rear one on though since it'll help hold it further on.
Joe...I thought the same thing and the NO MAD DASH TO GET THE LIQUID OFF THE BELT. Enjoy that squeal bud...he did impress me with a bunch of tools I don't have though...the offset wrench and the crow's foot thingamajiggamaninja.

Good to know I got like 3 years. I'll sell the car then.
(I'll probably end up selling the car by then but for other reasons, swear)
You mean you shouldn't lube the belt? *walks to car*
