Lol I didn't say you were wrong. I just wanted to double check that it's definitely okay. I used to use it for everything too. Then I was working on the project bike and, before my very eyes, watched a piece of plastic disintegrate and crack while just sitting on the table after spraying it. Now I'm super paranoid about using it on/near any plastic/rubber.

Edit: was able to repair the plastic part with epoxy. :enginerds

Don't spray plastic / styro cups with it. You can use it for mouthwash and wash your hands with tho.. it's da best.

You're really applying a little and the alky makes it poof pretty quickly. Plus you wipe down excess.

Thanks for removing my doubts. I'll spray that bish when I get home and put it all back together. I should have the TB done today.

Also, thanks for the write-up! It actually is really helpful because the book misses some important steps (removing the accy belt tensioner, replacing the water pump/tstat)

This shit's easy though. Even the CP bolt was easy. I went to Menards and bought a 36 inch pipe, put it over a 25 inch breaker bar, and squat the shit on my shoulder until it popped with relative ease, was able to get it out in like 10 minutes. The most challenging part so far was figuring out where to wedge the CP tool breaker because it was too short to reach the ground so I used the control arm. And the rear cam movement freaked me out at first, but it's fine.

Lots of forums opt for that and while I enjoy the power of Google it usually looks completely out of place compared to the forum built in search function.

Morning all.

On the subject of searching, I used to find it WAY easier to find shit when the forum URLs were "tl.acurazine.com" etc. Cuz you could Google search just that sub forum.

I agree. I stopped posting. It's no fun if he doesn't get worked up or even acknowledge what everyone says. The mods sure seem to be having a blast in there, though...
