The 3G Ramblings & General Discussion Thread (Trois)
I firmly believe that in the vast majority of cases, there are no bad dog, just bad owners.
There are a very very small percent of dogs that really are not controllable. Much like people I suppose - most are good but then you just get a psycho raving nutjob every so often.
But based on her trend with disposable animals, I'd say it's ol' girl that is the problem in that instance. Shame. pooch, you were too good for her anyway.

Poor pup.. most people don't know how to handle dogs, even if they're dog people.
That shelter is fucked though.. like what other resource is out there if not the shelter?!?
Lesson to be learned here.. don't bite the hand that feeds you.

Labs aren't exactly known for being aggressive in such a manner, so there likely was little recourse on changing that dog's behavior. If abused, cats/dogs can develop very aggressive behaviors and never drop them. What else would someone do? Take it to obedience school? No school would even take the dog.
It's sad. I never like hearing about stories like this, but it's not like you can just talk to the dog and be like "yo homie, y'all alright here. No need fo dat." I have a feeling there's a bit more to this story than we know, but either way, poor pup. Probably abused like crazy since little and then put down because it was afraid
When we got our cat from the shelter, we were told that the shelter only puts down aggressive animals that can't be reintroduced back into society. I dunno if that's true though. I'm sure they put down plenty of animals that just don't get adopted eventually. Every time we go to the shelter (like once a year, for various reasons... donate stuff, photos with santa (LoL), etc, etc), I always leave there with big pup eyes, wanting to adopt every damn animal in the building Wifey always says no though

Well, if you look at the take rates, I think you'll find that even the most ill-tempered, sickly, aggressive, and non-house-trained dogs are moving more units per year than the RLX. Upgraded tires or not.
So, yes. Even better.

I don't know the full story, and I won't ask. Even if she's wrong for doing what she did, I know for sure that she loved that dog and that it was heartbreaking for her to do that. I was with her the day she put the cat down and she cried for a long time so I know she's not heartless. She'd send snapchats and photos to me several times a week with that pup.

Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant though.
Doing my annual pre-winter detail (albeit late as fuck in the year)
Washed car, stripped wax, clay bar, IPA wipedown. And then I got really sad because I saw the paint, naked, trashed. The car's age shows, desperately needs a polishing, and a LOT of touch up on the front end (bumper and lip look like shit from rock chips). Found a dime-sized door ding and really minor scrapes from people parallel parking into my car.
I always park far away from everyone to avoid this shit but I guess it's just unavoidable.
Anyway. Put on a thin ass-coat of this sealant, let cure overnight. And breau. So many of the scratches are almost completely invisible! Mirror finish. Looks fucking fantastic. Second coat is curing now.

I typed this response: "J, send me a jar so I can try it. Or a towel. "
Then I thought what if J actually uses some weird ass wax? He does. So I went with the non response instead.
